I tried a lot of limescale removers in the toilet but none of them was as effective as Johnson's Duck Ocean.


First impression

It comes in a blue plastic bottle that has special formed neck. There is a duck on the top of the label showing that the bottle's neck is exactly the same form as the duck's neck. On the white duck you can see the red logo of Duck. In the middle of the label you can see that this is a 3 in 1 product:
- 99.9% germ kill
- limescale removal
- cleans & freshens


Price and where to buy

I bought it is Sainsbury's for one pound. It wasn't on offer, so sometimes you can see it in multipack or on other offer. I am sure you can find it in most of the supermarkets. It has a unique bottle so you will recognise it easily.


Ingredients

Contains: <5% Anionic Surfactants, <5% Non-ionic Surfactants, Also contains Disinfectant, Perfume, Limonene.


How to use it

It has a safe cap, so you have to squeeze both pads to unscrew the cap. Then pour the liquid under the rim. I pour as much as makes an even cover of the whole bowl. I leave it there for at least half an hour. It has a strong cleaner smell, I don't really like it. It is just chemical smell for me, doesn't resemble me to the ocean at all. After half an hour I go back and I brush it profoundly then flush it. If needed, I reapply the liquid. Once I had to repeat the whole process right after we moved into this house but since I clean it regularly there is no need for this.


Warning

It is written on the label that in case of contact with eyes you should rinse immediately with plenty of water then see a doctor. If you swallowed this liquid go to see a doctor immediately and show him/her the label. This cleaner shouldn't be mixed with any other chemical.


My experience

As I use it once a week it keeps our toilet clean. It is the most effective toilet cleaner I have ever used. I tried some and for me it is really the best, so I stick to this brand. It is easy to use. The special shaped neck is really useful. The liquid is strong enough, quite thick and has chemical smell. The rest of toilet cleaners smells even bad, so I don't complain, I just don't like it.

I think SC Johnson Ltd has done a great product I am satisfied with its effectiveness. I recommend you if you are not satisfied with other toilet cleaners.
