“ Brand: Dunelm / Type: Candle / Category: Home Fragrance „
When it comes to candles they are really something I like in my home so recently when I was in Dunhelm I picked a few of their votive candles up as they only cost 24p for a 50g size (currently in the sales too if you if can find them for 12p a candle!) and in a few different fragrances are on offer too!
This candle is pure white (not yellow as depicted on the review photograph for some reason) and is small and comes wrapped in a clear plastic which is easy to peel off with a white coloured long wick to the top of it and all we are told on that plastic is what it is and warned on the base of it by a peel of piece of paper that it is flammable and cautions are given!
I always pop candles such as this on a candle plate to be on the safe side and not cause any damage to my furniture though this, even if lit for ages doesn't get too hot at the base of it though if left lit for a while does drip to the sides of it.
This lasts about 12 hours, is easy to light and even if you burn it for a while and go back to light it the wick stays long enough to do so and it burns evenly. It lets off a very gentle but altogether natural fragrance of soft and sweet freesia that really isn't too heavy but crisp, clean and fresh.
For 24p a candle (usually) I think these offer really great value for money, don't melt down too quickly and they really do burn very evenly just creating a well effect to the middle of them which as soon as you blow the candle out the wax firms back up!
A really pleasant, long lasting cheap candle these are with a nice fragrance!
