Spend just £30 on an Earlex wallpaper stripper & you will wonder why you ever used a bucket of water & a sponge.

The Earlex stripper is an electric tool that makes stripping old wallpaper a piece of cake. just fill the base with water, switch on & wait approx 10 minutes for the steam to generate & away you go. It comes with a rectangular steam plate that you just hold to the wall, wait about 30 seconds for the paper to soften, then move to the next patch.

I have found if you start at the top of the wall the soft paper you scrape will fall down making the bit below quicker to soften up! I can strip a 13' x 13' room in about 3/4 of an hour.

There are various atatchments available to change the basic use of the machine, the sink unblocker was particularly effective. Don't bother going to the expense of hiring a machine as for £30, once purchased the machine is yours forever, you may find yourself loaning it to all & sundry!
