“ Brand: Easy / Type: Bleach / Category: Laundry „
=Easy 3 in 1 Thick Bleach= Every week I try one item and downgrade the brand, and this one week the item was Bleach, as I shop at Tesco, I have seen the Daisy brand, so I thought I would try the 3 in 1 Thick Bleach. =Bathroom= I always keep a supply of beach in the bathroom as it gets used what feels like a daily basis. =Price and Availability= I got this from Tesco and paid about 65p for a 750ml bottle. My bottle was the original fragrance. =Packaging= This looked very similar in design to branded products. It is 750ml in size. The label covers the front and back of the bottle, the "reading" aspects are clear and easy to read. The top is spouted and this has a child safety cap. =The Product Claims= What is the product supposed to do and does it do the job? - Kills Germs and is useful in fighting in E Coli, Listeria and MRSA - without a microscope and science kit we have to take their word for it! -Helps get rids of odours- YES - I can say it does the job no longer need a clothes peg for visits to the bathroom after Mr Thrifty -Deters Limescale - YES - Have cleaned the bathroom taps with it and there is no build of limescale. =Ways I use the product= I use this for the toilet bowl, to help kill germs, get rid of stains (sorry that sounds like too much info!) the fresh smell does smell sweet in the bathroom Use in plug holes - I pour some down the plug holes and the shower trap (we have a walk in shower and the plug hole gets so dirty and pluggy with hair). Leave for 2 minutes, then rinse Pour down the outside drains to have some freshness This can be used for many ways as a diluted wash - eg when cleaning the bathroom floor and the kitchen floor, window ledges, - The bottle recommends you put 60ml of bleach to 5 litres of water. =Is there any warnings= There are care warnings as to using the bleach, these are standard warnings, and are clearly legible, and are the usual warnings such as -Don't put the bleach into another container -Keep away from eyes and skin =My thoughts= With this being the original version there is no smell with the product, but when I use in the toilet it looks fresher, for other uses I have found it works ok, I have had no problems using it and found it did a good job. =My Niggle= The only niggle I have, is that it is described as a thick bleach, but compared to other thick bleaches I have used previously this is defiantly not a thick bleach and is quite runny, so you need to take extra care when pouring out, as risk of splash backs. =Overall= This is a 5/5 product but the lack of the thickness loses it 1 star.
I have always used Easy bleach, but I am now considering changing to another, and these new caps on the bottle are a nightmare for people with arthritic hands, I appreciate they are for safety reasons for children, but I asked my 34 year old son to open one for me and even he had trouble, if these caps are to remain I will have to move on.
I never spend huge amounts on this type of product, but as someone who regularly has to keep toielts/bathroomsclean because of sticky messy fingers and the occasional accidents thanks to little ones on the house, I always have to keep a good supply of bleach in the house so the brand for me is never important, as long as it can allow me to keep certain areas clean and fresh. I didnt buy this product myself, it was bought for me as an errand of mercy from a friend when I realised my supply had all but dried out, and was bought on my behalf. I got a pack of 2 for the cost of £1.00 ( it was marked on the packaging ) and it was in the original fragrance. Packaging: Very similar in look to other bleach brands.750ml in size.Label clear ( on front and back ) clear to see and read. Spouted top with child sagety cap that needs to be squeezed while gripped and to be turned anti clockwise. What does this product supposed to do? Its a liquid that is used for cleaning. Its supposed to: 1. Help get rid or odours. 2. Kill germs and is useful in fighting against E Coli, Listreia and MRSA. 3. Deters limescale. Ingredients? Antonic Surfants Perfume Disinfectants How do you use? You can use this product in a variety of ways, such as: 1. Can be used neat around the toilet bowl to help kill germs and to get rid of stains. This will also help the area be fresher in scent. 2. A small amount can be poured into a plug hole. LEave for 2 minutes then rinse. 3. Pour into drains, neat, to kill germs and help get rid of any nasty smells. 4. Can be used diluted on surfaces and floors to clean and freshen. Ration of 60ml of bleach to 5litres of water. Any warnings? The packaging advises not to use on certain materials such as silk, wool, leather etc. Dont put product into another container. Dont use on baby feeding equipment. ALLspillages are wiped up asap and rinsed with cold water. Dont mix with other products. Keep out if the reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. To be honest, its all the usual warning that you would expect, so common sense is only really needed. How do I rate this product? It does the job, I use it in the bathroom, mainly placed neat under the rim of the toilet and it cleans it and keeps it fresh. Its the original version so has no real smell to it, except bleach of course, but at least it makes the toilet smell clean rather than anything else..... Its easy to use, only disappointment is the packaging states its its very thick bleach, slightly disagree. Its thick, but could be alittle thicker in my opinion. Overall, with the product costing just 50p each, cant complain. The thing that I really like is the fact it has the child safety cap, despite the cheap cost of the product.I have bought similar bleach like this in the past for the same type of money, and normally its just a screw cap, so feel alittle nore reassured with that.
When it comes to bleach, in my home its something I use rather often. My Mum was/is a huge bleach fan and I guess that, that has rubbed off on me somewhat and so I now swear by it. Getting through so much of the stuff I am always on the lookout for a bargain when it comes to buyin git and tend to buy a thick bleach usually mainly for my toilet really and this I bought a bottle of for a mere 39p in my local B & M Store and usually buying a 750ml bottle (which this is) of Domestos if it is on offer at a pound a bottle this seemed a reallly good saving to me and every penny counts for most of us at the moment eh?! lol. The Packaging: Well I bought in this in the original scent though I am aware that this is also available to purchase in a citrus, lemon and a lime scent though personally I haven't seen those and this one was the only one available to me at the time I bought it. The bottle for the original version is dark blue with a red push on and twist lid/cap to the top of its angled head and on the front of it we are told of course that it is Easy 3in1 Bleach and that it kills germs for 24hrs and deters limescale, neutralises odours and is safe for septic tanks and of course that it is the original version is made by Jeyes. On the back of the bottle we are told a bit about the product (This is meant to kill all germs including Salmonella, E-Coli, Listeria and MRSA), we are told how to use it and given a lot of precautions and warnings are given, the size is stated (as I have listed already) and contact details fo the manufacturer are given. Nice enough and highly informative bottle this is and I do like the nozzle on the end of the angled head for ease of use to use around my toilet rim. Using It: Well it may have a nozzle to the top of it but it isn't only meant to be used for the toilet. This thick slightly golden coloured transparent liquid can also be used down drains, in and on sinks and basins and on floors and surfaces. I also use this for cleaning my ceramic tiles down and little odd jobs such as that. Like all bleach I have to be very mindful of my clothes as this will take the colour out if it comes into contact with them, so do be aware of that of course! This has a very strong 'original' smell to it. I have no idea what it smells of really but it isn't floral or fruity ust clean smelling really and rather chemically and when in use I do have to open my windows close to where I am as it does settle on my chest and make my breathing feel like its struggling a bit. I also wear gloves with this as like other bleaches it does make my hands really sore if it comes into contact with my skin. Just yesterday I have been using this! My ceramic sink was mucky so I used this neat on a cloth and wiped around it and then rinsed it off thoroughly. It brought my taps up lovely and shiny and removed the bits of toothpaste that were living in the sink. This I find removes rusty marks from the side of my sink too which happens when I leave my cheap jewellery on there which I do often. I tipped a lot of it down the plughole in my bath as I feel that the water is running out of it too slowly and I may have a blockage and shoved some up the rim of my toilet to make sure its germ free and I use it to clean my seat neat with and in the bowl. I also wiped down my kitchen surfaces with it and had a candle stain from a red candle that dripped wax down my ceramic tiled shelf on my kitchen window and all I did was squirt a little out, left it for a couple of minutes and then went and wiped it off and the stain came off with it. I have used this diluted on my laminate floors and allsorts and basically if your familiar with any bleach this is simply the same stuff though probably cheaper and can be used for all types of tasks. Do I recommend this? Absolutely yes...I do. A little of it goes a very long way indeed, its a multi tasking product...just watch your clothes and skin when using it and wave goodbye to grease, grime and dirt whenever you want to and really easily! Available from all good discounts stores, my local B & M stores always have this on sale at 39p a bottle.
This is a review of easy thick bleach. Its available in most shops i've been to and comes along in the usual 750ml plastic bottle and it cost me £1 for 2 bottles. The bottles i picked up were yellow and green, or citrus and pine fragrnace as the bottle described. Each bottle has the usual curved top for reaching beneath the toilet rim and the standard child proof lid. The bottle says that its 3 in 1, aka kills all germs, cleans and helps prevent limescale and is extremely thick. It comes with the standard precautions and instructions on back of the bottle for using in toilets, sinks, floors, etc. Although bleach is generally versatile for cleaning around the house i actually only use bleach for the loo personally. I am concious that bleach is not a very eco product, being a stanch eco and veggie girl, but i do cut a line at my usual not killing etho when it comes to killing germs and the toilet is always my main gripe. I have to say that i normally like to use domestos bleach in my toilets in my house and normally ecover products for the rest of my house these days, but having used this before when i used to clean peoples houses before i became pregnant i was aware of this product, plus when i went to iceland my usual domestos was not available for some reason, and seeing as it was on a double offer for £1 i thought none the wiser. Bleach by its very nature kills germs anyway so thats good enough for me! Using it in my loo i was aware that the bottle said it was an 'extremely thick bleach' so took my time when squirting it around the toilet to make sure that the whole toilet bowl was imersed. The bleach was fairly thick. Probably not as thick as my usual domestos but thicker than some cheap supermarket brand bleaches i have used when given by people to clean their homes. The bleach is clear unlike the yellowy domestos or parozone i have used but i was able to see the whole bowl was covered. I normally leave the stuff to work for 5 minutes whilst i shower. I used to leave bleach for hours on end when i knew the toilet would not be used but i have since discovered that bleach kill any germs within seconds anyway from that wonderstuff tv programme on a few months ago that explained how cleaning products worked. Anyway, the fragrance as with all bleaches i have used domestos included just smelt of chlorine, none of the claimed citrus or pine fragrance, but to be honest i quite like the clinical germ kill chlorine smell i toilets. Its just gives the impression that its clean to me. After 5 minutes and the flush the toilet is left with the usual foamy water and it leaves the loo looking sparkling as any other bleach. All in all this is a good bleach. Its thick enough to cling to the toilet and does the job of killing the germs which you ask for ot to do. I have since returned to my usual domestos since i have last been shopping just because thats what i like to use, but its good to know that i have a couple of bottle of this stuff in my cupboard should i run out of bleach in the future so would thoroughly recommend anyone to use this, especially when its so cheap compared to other bleaches and toilet cleaners.
One cleaning product that I cannot manage without is bleach, I seem to use a ton of it and always run out before my next big shopping trip so end up buying more. But I have noticed recently that the cost of the well-known brands of bleach have become more expensive like almost everything else. So on a trip to my local Iceland store one day I spotted a twin pack of this Easy bleach on special offer so though it would be worth a try. The two 750ml bottles came bound together with a clear plastic wrap and cost just £1.00 which I though was excellent value as you can pay this for just one bottle of bleach now. I was also surprised to see that when I had separated the bottles that the bleach was actually made by Jayes. I can remember my mum using cleaning products by this brand when I was younger and saying that they were very good quality so I was even more pleased with my purchase. You do need to take extra care with bleach as it can be a very harsh chemical, there are lots of warnings on the back of the bottle to advise you of the precautions to take. Also the bottle is fitted with a child safety cap. This means that you have to squeeze the sides of the cap as well as twist it to get it off. Now I know that some people are very fussy about bleach and have to use the ones that are very thick as they say they cling to the surfaces better when using the bleach neat. But to me bleach is bleach it all does the same thing and that is to kill germs and bacteria. This bleach did state on the front of the bottle that it is 'seriously thick' and using it I would not say that this is quite the case but it is not the thinnest I have used either. But to me this was fine as the only time I use the bleach neat is when cleaning my toilet and sink the rest of the time I add it to hot water to wipe down surfaces or mop floors with it diluted. I have been very pleased with the cleaning results of this bleach and will certainly be buying it again while it is on offer. It works brilliantly when used neat or diluted and leaves no unwanted residue behind. So for clean germ free surfaces for a great price then I will certainly recommend Easy bleach!
I try not to use too many chemical products in the home as it's bad for the environment, and bad for my daughter's asthma. I can't use bleach when she is around, and tend to keep the house well ventilated when using any chemicals. However, I have to use bleach sometimes, so when I saw this bleach, whilst food shopping in my local Iceland store, priced at two bottles for one pound I thought it was well worth a try. I use various bathroom cleaners but after rinsing these off (As the warning on the bottle says- Do not use with other products. May release dangerous gases (chlorine), I like to squirt a little bleach around the lavatory bowl and around the plugs and overflows in the bathroom. Easy 3 in 1 thick bleach is ideal for this because it squeezes out easily and I can usually manage to aim it exactly where I want, without making a mess on the bathroom floor. There is also a problem with bad condensation in my bathroom so when the little black bits start to appear bleach seems the best and quickest solution. This bleach is made by Jeyes, an old and trusted name. It comes in a blue bottle with a red child proof lid. I don't find it easy to open myself! The two bottles which I purchased were 750ml in quantity and last me a long time. The bleach really is quite thick so goes a long way. I am pleased to read on the label that the liquid and its ingredients haven't been tested on animals. It claims to: Kill all germs, even after flushing and to be effective against E-coli, salmonella, listeria and MRSA. I don't know how effective! Effective against mould. I do find it has to be left on a bit longer than another well known brand. Neutralises odours. Well, I would say it overpowers them! It also claims to deter limescale. As it's the original the smell is simply of bleach and quite strong. I quite like this as the smell allows me to feel I've done a good job cleaning, but as I've said, I open windows and rinse well as I don't think the smell or chemical content is good for you. I would recommend this product as it does it's job adequately and is a good price for a thick bleach.
As it was coming up to Christmas the pennies were tight I was browsing in my local supermarket for some cleaning products because I was running low on few them, bleach being one of them. Away to the cleaning isle I went and there sitting on the shelf was a brightly coloured yellow bottle with the name Easy on it written in big, bold, blue bubble letters, very eye catching if I must say so myself. I picked the bottle up and attached to it was another bottle I thought that it might be a little expensive seen as it was a pack of two but when I looked down at the price that sat below the product it said that it was only a £1. £1 for a pack of two surely this wasn't right, but who was I to argue that surely it wasn't right so I picked up 2 packs (that's 4 bottles for £2) great value indeed. Easy bleach is available to purchase in four different fragrances Lavender, Citrus, Original and Lime zest all have different coloured bottles to make it easier to pick out in store. The 750ml bottles are plastic and have an angled neck. According to the packaging Easy bleach is effective on all germs and viruses. There is a nice smell that comes from the bleach, but you can only smell a hint of the citrus, but it is still a pleasantly nice odour and just as strong as brand named bleaches. To be completely honest with you I honestly can't tell difference between a brand name and this cheaper version. Easy 3 in 1 Thick Bleaches are also effective against Salmonella, Listeria and E-coli. My over all opinion on this product is that I would highly recommend it to anyone I mean bleach is a thing that most people use apart from those that prefer the to make up the old method of cleaning products that have no toxins in it. I don't see the point in paying £1 for a 750 ml of Domestos bleach when you can get a product that does the same for cheaper well.... ok false advertisement here as you are getting one for £1 and getting one free or 2 for £1 if u want to look at it that way. I would rate this product 10 out of 10. Hope you switch to Easy the same as me look after those pennies and the pounds look after themselves EASY!!
I have just finished using the Orange Burst fragrance version of this. It comes in other fragrances but I have not tried those. On the front label it says "Easy 3 in 1, New Thicker Bleach" It also says that it kills all germs, deters lime scale and neutralises odours. I have been using it for cleaning my toilets with the aid of a toilet brush. Mine was in an 825 ml container (including 75 ml "free") and cost me £1 from a "pound shop". The plastic container has a child safety cap on it which is essential for all bleach products. When you push in and unscrew the cap there is an angled nozzle which when you then squeeze the main body of container fires a jet of the fluid out of it. This design feature makes it very easy to point and shoot accurately into the toilet bowl or on to any area that you wish to clean. It says on the back that it contains 5% bleaching products. This I feel is a low percentage and it was noticeable that it hardly smells of bleach when you use it. If I had noticed the 5% thing I probably would not have bought it. It seems to me, based on my usage that this is a diluted bleach product with some orange fragrance in it. I didn't find it particularly effective at cleaning my toilet and had to use a lot of it for it to have any impact. I cannot really judge the germ killing or lime scale deterring qualities of it as I am not a scientist. The fragrance was quite nice and did make the toilet bowl smell fresher. I will not be buying it again as in my opinion it is just a thin bleach that happens to be in a fancy looking container with a fancy label and a fancy sounding name to it. Standard bleach, which is far cheaper, would be my preference for general cleaning/germ killing cleaning jobs that require bleach. Dedicated toilet cleaning products bought from Lidl have worked far better for me than this Easy 3 in 1.
I first came across this bleach in Pound Stretcher, it was quite cheap, (sorry not sure of the exact price) so I decided to buy the citrus fragrance as my intention was to use it to clean up the back garden as we have a dog. Brief description Easy bleach is available in four different fragrances which are Lavendar, Citrus, Original and Lime zest, and they come in either a 825ml or 2 litre bottle. The 750ml bottles are plastic and have an angled neck with "Easy" wrote across the bottle in blue writing. According to the packaging Easy bleach is effective on all germs and viruses. Is the bleach thick? When I first used the bleach I was pleasantly surprised at how thick it was when poured out, it was just as thick as any brand named bleach. The smell There is a pleasant smell from the bleach, however you can only smell a hint of the citrus, but nonetheless still a pleasant odour and just as strong as brand named bleaches. First use My first use was out in the back garden, to eliminate any bad odours due to the dog, once the back was cleaned all odours were gone. I decided to use the bleach about the house and again I was pleasantly surprised, it was good at removing stains and left a nice clean fresh odour around the house. Would I buy this bleach again? Up until the point when I bought Easy bleach, I would`nt use any other bleach apart from the brand names but now I will buy Easy bleach for both the garden and the house as it is just as good. so yes I will be buying this bleach again. Highly recommended!!! Thanks for reading
