Then rinse thoroughly and buff up with your glass and Crome E-cloth. Admittedly it does not last very long. The spray leaves a fresh citrus fragrance and is made up of plant based ingredients. The spray can also be used on your tiles and basins, where Limescale has built up. Not all supermarkets sell this product, and so you will need to shop around normal...more

Premium Review Ecover Limescale Remover: Get rid of those stalactites! (533 words)

As some of you may see from my previous review of Oust, I'm trying to descale my very furred-up kettle today. Alright, I haven't done this tiresome and smelly old job for a year, but I was rather shocked when I opened the kettle up this morning. It wasn't quite at the point where stalactites and stalagmites were growing in there, but it was pretty close. Packaging After Oust completely failed to dislodge the buildup of limescale, I tried Ecover Limescale Remover. This costs £2.50 for 500ml from my local healthfood shop, and comes packaged in an opaque, white bottle with a blue trigger spray. Use I should stress that this ...  Read the complete review

This seems like a really odd thing to review but I've been telling everyone about this ever since I bought it so I thought I would tell you guys too. To give this a proper review I have to reveal some rather disturbing things about my housekeeping habits so brace yourselves! I don't mind doing housework but have so many other things that I need to or would rather do. This means that the only time the bathroom gets cleaned is when the inlaws are coming round (about once a month - I know disgusting!!) The morning of their visit you will find me rushing round the house desperately trying to make it look like I am a domestic goddess and not a lazy mum ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Ecover Limescale Remover: Soap scum and limescale beware! (271 words)
by - written on 05/07/09 (Very useful, 61 readings)

I like to keep my bathroom clean, I go with the ethos of prevention of limescale is better than trying to remove it. But, I found myself a few weeks ago with a build up of limescale around my bath. I was tempted by the usual suspects in the supermarket, but sought out ecover limescale remover because I use the rest of the range for my other cleaning needs. I have to admit I was not 100% confident that an "eco friendly" product would be effective at limescale removal, but my brilliant experiences with ecover swayed me. It costs around £3 for 500ml, and comes in a spray bottle with an easy to use, sturdy trigger. You simply spray over the affected ...  Read the complete review

I recently had my new bathroom suite and shower cubicle installed. The shower and taps are of an excellent quality and I needed to find a lime scale remover that was not harsh on my lovely shiny taps. Then I discovered this fantastic Eco friendly bathroom spray from the Ecover range. It is slightly expensive than other bathroom ranges but once you have tried it you wont chose another. It is simple to use, just spray over your taps and shower head and leave for around 5 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly and buff up with your glass and Crome E-cloth.
