Ecover Washing Up Liquid

I used to use fairy to clean my dishes but last year I discovered that proctor and gamble test products on animals. Now, I wouldn't state I'm any kind of animal activist, or a warrior for fair trade...I don't go vigorously seeking products to boycott, and I don't do a great deal of investigation into the products I buy. I have to admit that I had noticed that some of our "environmentalist" friends used this product and I always thought it had to be completely ineffective if it was good for the environment. It might not be an all-singing, all-dancing entertainment system, but Ecover washing up liquid is still my brand of choice on the rare occasion that I'm forced to don the Marigolds and scrub something that my dishwasher has failed to clean. Our dishwasher is out of action. It's sitting in the garage feeling rather lonely.
