fantastic, cheap and eco product (Ecover Washing Up Liquid)

Ok I will be honest I am not a eco nut, I don't have a grey water system or solar panels and I can't keep plants alive let alone feed my family from the garden! However I think when and where you can help its a good idea, not me preaching just my opinion.

Anyway back to the product it cost me £2.00 for a litre bottle although there are offers on normally and I do plan on starting to buy the huge bulk bottles as I love it that much. Its the one with the blue lid too which is camomile and marigold. So the bottle is clear with the semi transparent blue flip top lid, there is a picture of a plant and ecover printed in big letters on the front, to be honest fairly non offensive and not an eyesore for the windowsill.

I have to say I had a few troubles with it at first as it doesn't produce as many bubbles as say Fairy, but that was my problem and once I felt the cleaning power I knew it was one to get over and quickly! The reason there are not as many bubbles is because it is eco friendly there are less foaming agents if not none added.

The smell is very pleasant, not strong or too herby, the cleaning is amazing, much better than I expected, although I do have a dishwasher and only wash a few things by hand it works very well and is very good for cleaning the sink.

It cuts through grease and grime like any other I have tried with the upside being it is environmentally friendly and of all the brands available it was the cheapest one I could find which in all fairness played a major part in my decision making process but now I wouldn't change it for the world.

As an added bonus I find that it is less drying than others on my hands and they are not irritated as much either.

Summary: a firm favourite
