I remember my parents using this stuff when it first came out, many moons ago when I was a kid. You used to only be able to get it in selected shops back then, but as society is becoming more environmentaly aware you can pick this stuff up down your local supermarket. So it's easy to give 'green' washing up a try!

I am a big fan of ecover products, and although I wouldn't say there washing up liquid is better than fairy, or any other leading brand, it's certainly not worse!

Don't expect to get the same amount of bubbles from this stuff, but don't worry it works just as well! Plus it doesn't irritate those of us with sensitive hands so much, which has been a major plus point for me too!

Many health food shops etc. also provide a refill service, where you can take along your empty bottle of washing up liquid and get it filled up again. This saves you cash and helps save some plastic too!

Summary: refillable bottle makes it a winner!
