Not only is this product good for the environment, it is also very kind to your skin. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, the ingredients (compared to non green products) make it much easier on the hands.
It lasts just as long as the non green quivalents, and does not produce as many bubbles. I use the cammomile version which smells lovely and cleans the dishes very well. As I do not have a drainer to rinse my dishes, I like to use green products that will not leave nasty chemicls behind on them.
As it is biodegradable, I sometimes pour the water out onto my garden flower beds once it has cooled down.
Ecover have also started a refill service which is a great idea. Their website allows you to enter your postcode to search for the nearest shop to you that is doing refils. You can also buy it online at various stores for example www.biggreensmile.com. I find that my local Tesco always has this product in stock, as well as other Ecover products.
