It was my mum who started buying this, before it was in any big shops and i loved it from the moment she brought it home. It smells lovely and cleans the dishes brilliantly. We also noticed that our hands weren't as dry as they normally were, so the washing up liquid must have some soothing and moisturising properties in it ... Read the complete review

Ive only started to use this product recently, as I usually use Morrisons own brand cheaper version. However, as quite often happens in our local Morrisons store at the moment, there was none on the shelf. I did stand in the aisle for some minutes umming and ahhing as to which washing up liquid to try instead. As Ecover was the only other ... Read the complete review

I can highly recommend this product. I am conscious of the chemicals I use around my home and this product allows me to reduce the number of unnecessary chemicals and has a lower impact on our outside environment too. After initially using this product a couple of years ago I have switched all of the cleaning products I buy to use around the ... Read the complete review

Being conscious about the environment and our actions, my family decided to try Ecover Washing Up Liquid as opposed the our usual Fairy Liquid. Ecover uses citrus (natural plant/fruit e.g. lemon) based cleaning formula for alot of their products, including Ecover Washing Up Liquid. This means that as the liquid comes from nature, it won't harm ... Read the complete review

Not only is this product good for the environment, it is also very kind to your skin. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, the ingredients (compared to non green products) make it much easier on the hands. It lasts just as long as the non green quivalents, and does not produce as many bubbles. I use the cammomile version which smells ... Read the complete review

I decided to switch my regular 'fairy' washing-up liquid with 'ECOVER' a few months ago. Ecover products are derived from plant and mineral extracts, and are completely biodegradable. The first thing I noticed was that the consistency wasn't as thick as other washing up liquids, but I was willing to make a compromise (if it is going to ... Read the complete review

Ecover washing up liquid is the third ecover product I tried (after the laundry liquid and softener). I specifically chose it because my skin is sensitive and I HATE wearing rubber gloves, I find them so clumsy. The solution to sensitive skin for most companies is to pump the washing up liquid full of moisturisers. The problem is, ... Read the complete review

My mum started using Ecover Washing Up Liquid, a few months ago. She along with the rest of us, has really started getting into the whole being green thing, and we thought this was a good place to start. We were a bit worried, that because Ecover wasn't so strong, that it wouldn't actually clean our dishes as well as the other brands of ... Read the complete review

I decided to try Ecover's washing-up liquid because I found that regular detergents were far too harsh and were leaving my skin too dry and chapped. At first I was worried that by being gentler, this washing-up liquid would be less effective than its non-ecological counterparts. However, after reading the product's composition, I ... I remember my parents using this stuff when it first came out, many moons ago when I was a kid. You used to only be able to get it in selected shops back then, but as society is becoming more environmentaly aware you can pick this stuff up down your local supermarket. So it's easy to give 'green' washing up a try! I am a big fan of ... Read the complete review

Ok I will be honest I am not a eco nut, I don't have a grey water system or solar panels and I can't keep plants alive let alone feed my family from the garden! However I think when and where you can help its a good idea, not me preaching just my opinion. Anyway back to the product it cost me £2.00 for a litre bottle although there are ... Ecover washing liquid is a great washing up liquid. It is kind to the environment this is the primary reason that I buy it. I know it is not the cheapest but that is what is important to me. The smell is pleasant, the cleaning power is great. A little can go a long way. I buy 5 litre bottles maybe once every 6-8 months, and ... Read the complete review

Washing up liquid is important to me, I like one that can really clean through tough stains and heavy grease without having to soak for too long or having to scrub too hard. For that reason I usually always buy fairy but on reading about Ecover washing up liquid a while ago I decided to give it a go. Ecover has some certain things going ... Read the complete review

Ssssh... keep this to yourself, but guess what? This wishy-washy namby-pamby liberal animal-loving Ecover washing up liquid isn't just a nod to the environment. It's actually one of the best washing up detergents I've found. Ecover is a top to bottom environmentally friendly company, and everything from their green-roofed factories to ... The reason I decided to try Ecover, was to begin with, I was given a free sample, its important to state this as Ecover are a very generous brand and its well worth visiting their site as they do have freebies such as the mini 50ml bottle I received. Normally Ecover retails in most supermarkets for around £1 a 500ml bottle (98p to be ... Read the complete review

My skin, especially on my hands, tends to get irritated by anything too chemical-y, so I try not to give it any excuse to flare up. This means avoiding cheap and nasty washing up liquid. This product is by far the most eco friendly of all of the washing up liquids. It's incredibly good for the enivironment and it doesn't produce fake bubbles, unlike other nasty washing up liquids. It states on the back of the bottle that it "cleans effectively without producing excessive bubbles". Excellent. This washing ... Read the complete review

I would not normally bother to review a product like dish-washing liquid but this product is so good that I feel compelled to write about it. It might not be an all-singing, all-dancing entertainment system, but Ecover washing up liquid is still my brand of choice on the rare occasion that I'm forced to don the Marigolds and scrub something that my dishwasher has failed to clean.
