Premium Review Fairy Clean & Care Silk and Orchid Wul: My Fairy isn't flying today! (476 words)

When shopping not long ago I needed washing up liquid and noticed a variety I hadn't seen before - Fairy Clean and Care. It was on offer at three for the price of two at the time and since Fairy is always good I thought I'd try it. The current price at Asda is £1.37 for a 450ml bottle and the three fragrances available are aloe vera and cucumber, silk and orchid and almond extract. I remember the days when anything other than lemon was unusual! The bottle is a little bit different in shape from the usual ones. It's squatter with curved ridges set into it. I suppose it looks OK but I don't really see the point in fancy washing up bottles but maybe ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fairy clean and care takes the bore out of the chore (507 words)

I'm sure everyone at some time in their lives has done the washing up, some more than others. I myself wash up three times a day minimum following a breakdown of my dishwasher. However, what I found suprising though was the amount of choice that is now available and what I found looked really good was the new Fairy clean and care range. There are three new varities on the market although at this stage I have only tried out two. The one which I currently have is the silk and orchid variety. The other two varities include; Aloe Vera and Cucumber and Almond. When it first arrived from Tesco's (I did an on line shop) I was pleasantly suprised at the colour, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fairy Clean & Care Silk and Orchid Wul: Fairy in training - not enough magic for me (786 words)

Washing up. Its a touchy subject in my house. I used to quite like washing up when I lived on my own, when it was just me and my mess. However after moving in with my partner and the washing up being always being a constant source of frustration my opinions have quickly changed. I don't just dislike washing up, in fact I detest it. When I go shopping I always try to buy a different kind of washing up liquid in an attempt to spur me on to wash up more often or even more miraculously get me to love washing up. On one of my recent shopping trips I decided to try Silk and Orchid from the new Fairy Clean and Care range. What initially drew me to this range was the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Floral scent in my kitchen after doing the washing up (334 words)

I was absolutely content with my Fairy Almond washing-up liquid but I ran out of it and so did Tesco. Fairy washing up liquid was on offer, so I decided to try the two other ones of the clear & care series. Now I review the silk & orchid one. First impressions ------------------------ The washing up liquid comes in a transparent plastic bottle. There is half litre of washing up liquid in it. The Silk & Orchid one is of lilac colour and it is so silky. It is not transparent at all. It is very easy to open its cup. This washing up liquid has very nice floral scent. I waited the moment to try it. It is thick and cleans very well. I am ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fairy Clean & Care Silk and Orchid Wul: Luxury in a bottle (248 words)

I saw this in the super market and it caught my eye. It is marketed in a very stylish bottle. It sounded so luxorious I thought 'why not' it might make the washing up more enjoyable and might help keep my hands a bit softer. They do a a selection in the same range - silk and orchard, Aloe Vera and Cucumber and the one that I chose which was almond. The almond one has the usual fairy baby in the middle of the bottle and is surrounded by a heart made up of leaves and hearts. It also has a picture of an almond and almond in its shell. Also the bottle looks very nice in the kitchen. It was very easy to open and close and there was no build up around ...  Read the complete review
