Fairy Lavender washing up liquid is so beautiful it actually makes washing up a pleasure! Now there's a statement! I have been buying this product for many months now, and have nothing but praise for it in every aspect. The last bottle I purchased was 98p from the home delivery company Ocado, but they say this is a Tesco price match, so you should find it similar in other supermarkets; on looking today at the price checker website "My Supermarket", only Asda were selling it cheaper for 97p. It represents very good value for what I believe to be an exceptional product. The fragrance is absolutely beautiful, it smells like real French ... Read the complete review

My mum always buys Fairy Liquid and Im glad because it always smells so nice and gives me loads of bubble to wash up in even when I only use a little bit. I don't like the smell of lavender though because its so old fashioned and dusty smelling so I was a bit peed off when i saw she'd got this one instead of the usual lemon or pink one she buys. Its not too bad though because the smell of lavender isn't too strong in it and even though you can tell what it is the air isn't full of the sickly smell when Im doing the washing up. You only have to use a few drops in the washing up bowl to get loads of bubbles and this Fairy is as good at ... Read the complete review

In the past I have tried lots of cheaper alternative washing-up liquids in a quest to save myself some money. Unfortunately, this is usually a false economy, as I end up purchasing a more expensive bottle and tossing the cheap one in the bin. Fairy lavender liquid is provided in a clear plastic bottle with a flip top lid. The bottle has a slight curve to it which makes it easier to grab from the side of the kitchen, when I have wet hands. The liquid is thick and purple in colour, and the bottle tells me that this is concentrated and will last 50% longer than cheaper brands. I do find this to be long-lasting, although it does cost more, this is ... Read the complete review

I am a big fan of Fairy washing up liquid for two reasons; a) it's quite simply the best washing up liquid on the market and b) it's the only one really that doesn't cause my eczema to flare up if I forget to wear my washing up gloves. For this reason I have watched the expansion of the Fairy range with some interest and must admit that of all the varieties I've tried I have greatly enjoyed using all of them. My favourite, however, is this fairly recently launched Lavender version. One of the best things about Fairy washing up liquid is the fact that it's so economical, I cannot understand why people try to save a few pennies on slightly cheaper ... Read the complete review

Was it really as far back as 1965 when we were treated to that unforgettable television advert that featured Nanette Newman as the `Mum` and Leslie Ash as the young daughter politely conversing over a bowlful of dirty dishes that were on the receiving end of the Fairy Liquid treatment ? Having done some Internet research it seems that that advertisement did run all of those years ago. Leslie Ash was waiting for the empty Fairy Liquid bottle to make a skittle, if Leslie was hoping to make a full set of skittles then she might still be keeping those bottles !
