I am a big fan of fairy and although shop brands are cheaper it is the one item I do stock up on when on offer and can often find it on offer at usually 2 for £2 which is the current offer at Morrison's for a 450mls bottle. It comes in a clear bottle with the fairy baby stomping through a field of lavender. The liquid itself is a strong ... Read the complete review

Ever since I moved out of my parents home and started paying for my own shopping, I have always bought the cheapest washing up liquid, kidding myself into thinking that I was saving money. In the summer we went away for a week in a caravan and there was a bottle of 'Fairy' in the window so I used this. I was amazed at the difference and have been ... Read the complete review

Fairy Lavender washing up liquid is so beautiful it actually makes washing up a pleasure! Now there's a statement! I have been buying this product for many months now, and have nothing but praise for it in every aspect. The last bottle I purchased was 98p from the home delivery company Ocado, but they say this is a Tesco price match, so ... Read the complete review

My mum always buys Fairy Liquid and Im glad because it always smells so nice and gives me loads of bubble to wash up in even when I only use a little bit. I don't like the smell of lavender though because its so old fashioned and dusty smelling so I was a bit peed off when i saw she'd got this one instead of the usual lemon or pink one ... I find I we usually have Fairy for washing up liquid out of habit, as it's a reliable brand we've used for years. With their range expanding, the Lavender scent caught my eye and we've now used it a couple of times quite happily. Fairy are probably the most popular choice when it comes to washing up liquids, made famous by their ... Read the complete review

In the past I have tried lots of cheaper alternative washing-up liquids in a quest to save myself some money. Unfortunately, this is usually a false economy, as I end up purchasing a more expensive bottle and tossing the cheap one in the bin. Fairy lavender liquid is provided in a clear plastic bottle with a flip top lid. The bottle has ... Read the complete review

At first you wouldn't really think there's a lot of difference between washing up liquids, but I've been using Asda's own brand liquid lately and noticed a big difference. However, I've also noticed a difference in the old Fairy and the new Fairy. When I say the old Fairy, I mean in the days of Nanette Newman. In those days a small ... Read the complete review

I am a big fan of Fairy washing up liquid for two reasons; a) it's quite simply the best washing up liquid on the market and b) it's the only one really that doesn't cause my eczema to flare up if I forget to wear my washing up gloves. For this reason I have watched the expansion of the Fairy range with some interest and must admit ... Read the complete review

I am not a brand junkie - even with the £1/£2 purchases I want value for my money. I don't mind having value products in my cupboards, or in full view of guests... but ONLY if they work!! I have used value brands, own brands and other brands and I always come back to 'mild green fairy liquid'. Except for its not green now! Hurrah! Fairy ... Read the complete review

Was it really as far back as 1965 when we were treated to that unforgettable television advert that featured Nanette Newman as the `Mum` and Leslie Ash as the young daughter politely conversing over a bowlful of dirty dishes that were on the receiving end of the Fairy Liquid treatment ? Having done some Internet research it seems that that ... Read the complete review

'Lavender' in Fairy Liquid? Why, whoever heard the like! 'Back in the day', as the young ones say nowadays - it was green, it was sticky, it was frothy, and it had a clever animated baby who could wink towards the camera on TV adverts! Now the makers Procter and Gamble have gone and got all fancy with their new fangled ideas ... Read the complete review
