Fairy is, as most will know, a respectable brand of dish washing liquid made by Proctor and Gamble. Since its first appearance in 1960, Fairy Liquid has been well respected in the field of dish washing and is renown for its high concentration and the way it lasts. Fairy liquid is traditionally green, prompting the well-known advertising jingle "Now hands that do dishes can feel soft as your face, with mild green Fairy Liquid". But now it comes in other colours too including

The price can often seem a lot more expensive than other dishwashing liquids but at touched on previously, it prides itself on the fact that you need less and therefore lasts longer.

Over the years there have been many differerent adverts on the tv with fairy liquid. Few will be aware than the actress Lesley Ash actually appeared on one aged only 4 years old. There are a number of them on youtube if anybody has a boring life:-)

In summing up we, as a family, learnt a long time ago that buying certain other brands is not economical. You often need 2 or 3 times more of the liquid to clean the dishes. Doesn't make sense really. This household name comes highly recommended. It is been around for 40 years and I can see no reason why it won't here for another 40.
