Fairy Liquid is an excellent washing up liquid, which should be used in and around the kitchen to wash things such as dishes, cutlery and pans. It's widely available from many supermarkets including Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys as well as smaller ones such as Budgens and the Co-Op.

You can buy fairy liquid in many different scents such as:

- Apple
- Lavender
- Lemon
- Pink Petals
- Original

The Lemon one is my favourite but the original one is nice too. I have yet to try the others. They come in 450ml and 650ml bottles for around 98p or £1.35 respectively but the larger 650ml bottles are currently on offer at Tesco and Asda for 2 for £2.00.

The bottles have a new design but they are still transparent so you can see through to the coloured liquid. They have the fairy liquid and logo on the front on a round label and they have a red plastic cap, which flicks up. There is a good size hole where the washing up liquid runs out to be used.

I usually use this with the dishmatique cleaning product. You simply pour this in with a drop of water and it creates a great solution to scrub with. This is also really useful for cleaning out plastic bottles to re-use them. Give the mouth-piece a scrub with a sponge and some fairy liquid as well as the outside. Then pour a bit inside and along with some boiling water, put the cap on and give it a shake before rinsing it out thoroughly.

Fairy liquid creates a great bubbly texture so it's ideal for cleaning things and it really gets rid of dirt and grease. I'd highly recommend it as each one has a unique delicious aroma and they all work just as well as each other.
