Advantages: Cheap and long-lasting.

Disadvantages: Sometimes causes rash. I would recommend Ecover if you have allergic skin.

Fairy washing up liquid is manufactured by Procter & Gamble in UK . It's the best thing i ever tried . I decided to review popular Fairy Original liquid .

This liquid handles really well on grease so i don't need to scrub dishes more, risking scratches. Although it easily removes dirt, plates and burnt pans need to be soaked first before dishwashing. Dishes need minimal rinsing to come clean.

There are different Fairy liquids available:
Original
Silk and orchid
Almond
Aloe vera and cucumber
Pink Petals
Lavender
Lemon
Apple
Pink grapefruit
Eucalyptus
Lime and lemongrass

Ingredients:
15-30% Anionic Surfactants
5-15% Nonionic Surfactants, Methylisothiazolinone, Phenoxyethanol, Perfumes, Geraniol, Limonene

Fairy original liquid is green and comes in a transparent and fully recyclable plastic bottle with red flip top lid. It is easy to open and squeeze. Bottle has a Fairy logo on the front and the ingredients list and directions for use at the back.

It is long-lasting and economic -it is thicker than value brands and more concentrated. I only use few drops to get sparkling clean and fresh cookware, plates, glass etc. It foams and bubbles well.

Always store Fairy away from children and rinse your hands thoroughly after use. Obviously , don't use this detergent (or wear latex gloves) if you have damaged skin or if your skin is itchy and sensitive.

In my opinion Fairy Original has a light, refreshing scent. Of course, it all depends on each person's preferences. I have an aversion to floral scents while my husband adores them.

It's obviously cheap at 98p for 450 ml ( Tesco) and there are often offers : BOGOF, 2 for £1.50 etc. Conclusion: avoid cheaper alternatives. You might save 10p but in the long run you are really losing money. Fairy lasts longer than watery liquids and is kind to my hands. Highly recommended product!

Summary: Recommended product!
