***** Introduction *****
I have never really been a massive fan of washing the dishes, I say chuck it in the dish washer but as we are trying to save a few pennies, that dish washer is a very expensive luxury that is not really needed when there is only two of us in the house.
Anyway while in tesco last week my other half reminded me that we needed washing up liquid, si a heated debate started on what liquid to buy I opted for quality fairy liquid only to shoot myself in the foot as I dont wash dishes anyway, so I have landed myself as chief dish washer.
***** The Fairy Liquid *****
This fairy washing up liquid comes in a 500ml plastic bottle that has a little red cap that allows the liquid to dispurse when it is squeezed gently.
You can buy this liquid in various different colours and fragrances, we opted for the twisted lemon fragrance which not only had a devine citrus smell to it, but the bright yellow transparent liquid also attracted me to it.
The fist time I tried the liquid I squeezed far to much into the running hot water, so much that bubbles started to overwhelm the whole kitchen and I had to pull the plug and rinse the bubbles away before starting the whole process again.
I learned a very big lesson, less is more as you only need the tiniest amount to clean the dishes and aquire the right amount of bubbles.
Not only does this make the whole kitchen smell nice, clean pots and pans so clean they squeek but it also seems to soften my hands.
***** My Views *****
As a novice to pot washing I think that fairy liquid has gone down a storm, a actually find washing the dishes very relaxing and a pleasant experience. I really dont understand why the other half has moaned for so long.
I bought this on a BOGOF offer at tesco, two 500ml bottles of you choice for £2.00 which is feel is very reasonable, I also like the fact that you can opt to buy two different fragrances.
If you have never used fairy give it a try as I love it.
Summary: Recommended for any fellow pot washer.
