No more smelly dishes! (Fairy Liquid)

Advantages: Cleans really well, cuts through grease, leaves my dishes really shiny and squeaky clean

Disadvantages: Can be expensive

For years we have all seen the tv adverts for "mild green fairy liquid" Its probably the most well known washing up liquid in the UK and i think its the best.

I dont buy it all the time as i think its quite expensive and i usually opt for cheaper brands. If Fairy is on offer at a good price, this is when i will stock up on it.

I was in my parents house yesterday doing the dishes after dinner and my mum had bought Fairy liquid original (the green one) It is in a plastic tall bottle with a red flip top lid and the bottle she had bought was 450 ml.

It had been bought from the corner shop for £1.50 which i think is a little expensive. The Fairy name was in red on the front of the bottle beside a picture of a baby.

Fairy claims to last 50% longer than the best selling leading brand. When i used it, i smelt its familiar soapy smell. It smells like something else to me but i just cant put my finger on it. I put a small squirt into the sink full of hot water.

The water went really suddy and soapy and when i started washing my plates, i noticed how they the Fairy had done a brilliant job of getting all the grease and dirt of them.

It didnt leave a soapy residue and my plates were shiny and really squeaky clean.

Anytime i have bought Fairy it has lasted quite a long time so it maybe is good value for money if you can buy it when its on offer.

Fairy continues to be my favourite washing up liquid as it does the job really well. Well recommended!
