Advantages: cleans well, nice shaped bottles and low prices.

Fairy washing up liquid is the ferrari of cars, the D&G of handbags. It is basically top notch and the best in my opinion. There are hundreds of different cheaper and more expensive brands from tesco's or ASDA's own to environmentally friendly ones.

Fairy liquid comes in different colours and 'flavours' like apple which is a minty green colour, lemon which is yellow or lavender which is purple. You can also get the original which is a darker green colour and doesn't really smell of anything other than washing up liquid.

For a 650 (big) bottle of original fair liquid, it's £1.34 which really isn't bad. You can get the slightly smaller bottle for 97p which are currently on offer at asda for 2 for £1! This means you're getting one bottle worth 97p for just 3p, I've grabbed a couple of bottles and would suggest you do too!

Unlike cheaper washing up liquids, when you put a bit of this under running water, you get a mass amount of bubbles to clean your dishes and cutlery with. I find this washing up liquid is really good at getting grease off frying pans and things like that. It's also good to get tea stains off my mugs which I always end up with.

I have often used this for my sons bubbles when his mixture has run out, and when mixed with the right concentration of water, this washing up liquid works really really well making lots of big and small bubbles.

The bottle of original fairy liquid is curved near the top with small grooves so you can hold and squeeze it really easily - good for when your hands are wet whilst washing up. Some of the bottles have pull-up tops which are quick and easy to open and have no tops to screw off and lose. Some have flip lids which are just as simple to use.

Overall, Fairy liquid is a traditional household brand name that will always be welcome in my house. My favourite washing up liquid is the lemon just becase I like the nice fresh smell better than lavender or apple. It isn't too strong but it's noticable and smells nice and clean. I'd definitely recommend this to others, I've always used it and will continue to.
