Fairy washing up liquid is a very popular brand of washing up liquid, so much so that washing up liquid is now often referred to as 'fairy liquid' despite what brand is being used - similar to all glue sticks being called pritt sticks and all vacuum cleaners being called hoovers etc etc.
Fairy Liquid comes in all sorts of flavours and sizes, my particular favourite ones are the citrus flavoured ones such as lemon, as I think these give a much fresher and cleaner smelling wash. The product comes in a squeezy clear plastic bottle with a cap on the top, it is really easy to dispense from the bottle, simply hold upside down and give it a little squeeze. I have found that with Fairy a little really does go a long way - you only need a small drop to get a good lather going on in your sink, I then tend to put a little drop on my spong aswell. I have also found that Fairy does seem to make doing the pots a little easier than other cheaper brands. As it claims to, Fairy Liquid does seem to be able to clean through grease much easier, it also cleans baking trays fairly easy too. With pots such as lasagne dishes or pasta bake dishes I tend to squeeze a drop into the dish and then pour over some hot water and leave for ten minutes and this does the trick. It is also worth noting that it is quite gentle on the skin too, I never wear gloves whilst doing the pots and I have never experienced any irritation during or after use, if anything it leaves my hands feeling softer and moisturised!
Overall I would definitely recommend Fairy Liquid, although I do buy cheaper brands sometimes when I cant find Fairy Liquid on 'offer' anywhere, I can tell the different between the cleaning power of the two, and also how much liquid you need to use aswell. I tend to have to use more to get the same effect when I am using a cheaper brand such as Tesco or Asda's own version.
