Fairy leaves everything sparkling clean!
Member Name: little-star
Advantages: Leaves glasses gleaming & lasts a long time
Disadvantages: High in price if not on offer
I used to buy cheaper brands of washing up liquid because I thought fairy was too expensive just to wash the pots with but one bottle of cheaper washing up liquid was only lasting me about one week so I decided to give fairy a try to see if it could last longer, I'm pleased to say that fairy can last me about 3 weeks. I always stock up on fairy when it's on offer for around £1 so even though its about double the price of cheaper brands it lasts three times longer so it's worth the extra cost. There's a variety of different scents available but if originals cheaper then I just buy that one, I'm not paying extra just to make my plates smell nicer. Today in Tesco I got 2 bottles of fairy liquid, one was pomegranate and the other was apple and they were only £1 each and both smell lovely. Fairy comes in a recyclable plastic bottle.
I get dry skin around my nails which can get quite sore and washing up liquid usually makes it worse but not with fairy. It doesn't make my hands soft but it doesn't dry them out further like other brands do. I only put a little squirt of fairy in the sink and run the hot tap and the sink fills with bubbles unlike cheaper brands. The bubbles last right through to washing the last dish, where as other brands I've used I've had to fill the sink up once again because there's no bubbles left halfway through washing the pots. It cleans off grease and food easily without having to scrub the pots and for any tougher bits I'll just leave to soak for a bit and then it wipes off easily.
Fairy doesn't leave any soap marks on glasses and it really does leave everything gleaming. I'm really impressed with fairy washing up liquid and only wish I'd tried it sooner. I do think that it's too expensive if it's not on offer and maybe if they kept it priced at around £1 constantly then a lot more people would buy it as people tend to automatically pick up the branded product they usually buy thinking its the cheapest without actually checking prices of other brands so they might not realise you can buy fairy at such a low price sometimes.
Summary: The best washing up liquid I've ever used
