I've used Fairy Liquid Original on and off for years, in between another brand which I think smells better (sort of lime and ginger). Anyway, I was tempted by Tesco's special offer to try the new fragrances. I was pleased to see a "Fresh Lavender" one, but soooo disappointed when I tried it. It actually smells nasty! It suggests dead leaves to me, slowly rotting - it's very unpleasant. I've given it away to my neighbour, but haven't yet heard what she thinks of it.

Fair Liquid is the standard soap I use for washing up the dishes. Although slightly expensive at a few pounds/ bottle, fairly liquid tends to get the job done. Pour a bit onto a sponge, run some hot water over the dirty plate and then scrub, the dirt comes off with ease. I have tried other soaps for washing the dishes and Fairy Liquid always comes ... I don't have a dishwasher so therefore we need to buy washing up liquid. I usually go for the very cheap stuff and forget that it's false economy because you need to use loads of it and therefore end up buying more bottles. Well no longer do I let my mind be kidded due to a run in with a bottle of Fairy whilst we were on holiday. I started to do ... Read the complete review

Fairy Liquid is an excellent washing up liquid, which should be used in and around the kitchen to wash things such as dishes, cutlery and pans. It's widely available from many supermarkets including Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys as well as smaller ones such as Budgens and the Co-Op. You can buy fairy liquid in many different scents such ... Fairy Liquid was part of my childhood so naturally when I grew up and had children of my own, I stuck with Fairy Liquid. I don't do dishes that often now, because we have a dish washer, but there are always a few items that need a bit of extra TLC and that is where the Fairy Liquid comes in. It is still kind to hands that do dishes, It ... Read the complete review

Every woman in the country has certain brands that she will not replace with alternatives no matter what the cost, and for me one of these irreplaceable brands is Fairy Dishwashing Liquid. Fairy has come a long way from only having one standard dishwashing liquid and now comes in a variety of fragrances, and they all work equally well. Simply ... Read the complete review

Fairy is one of the top brands for washing up. It has been around since 1960 where since then it has become a well respected washing up liquid and highly known for cleaning dishes with force. The slogan on the advert says "Now hands that do dishes can feel soft as your face, with mild green Fairy Liquid". I defiantly agree with ... Read the complete review

I unfornately do not have the luxury of a dishwasher as my kitchen is too small to fit one. So until I can get enough money to get a tabletop one, all the washing up will be done by me using only the best liquid, fairy. Fairy is a well known, popular brand and I feel it deserves this very much so. Fairy is not the cheapest washing ... Read the complete review

All Fairy washing up liquids are of the highest quality, superior in the sense that the formula is condensed, as such feels thick. This means that less liquid is actually needed inorder to get the job done. As a result of spending a few more pennies, you actually save money, as little is needed; just squirt a max of a teaspoon and whizz it around ... Read the complete review

Put your hand up if you love washing up! Anyone? You at the back? Yes you can be excused. Ok so it's not something we really enjoy, many of us now have dishwashers to make life easier. But even with dishwashers some things you still really need to wash by hand. So Fairy Liquid is probably the most well known washing up liquid ... Read the complete review

'Fairy' has been on our shelves for a number of years, but some people just don't quite realise how good 'Fairys' washing up liquid really is. Amazingly, a 500ml bottle of this fantastic washing up liquid can be bought for just 98p! What I can't get over, is how cheap this is on comparison to other brands. Some can be as expensive as ... I remember the TV adverts for fairy growing up and the jingle "Now hands that do dishes can feel soft as your face, with mild green Fairy Liquid". I never thought i'd be the type of person that even saw a difference in a washing up liquid, let alone be raving about it. How much? Fairy is more expensive than supoermarkets ... i cannot believe that people are paying £2.35 + £1.95 p&p for a 500ml bottle of fairy liquid. You can get the 500ml original green for 98p at Savers. Has anybody else realised they are now producing 450 & 650ml bottles? The 450 one iss going out at the same price as 500ml......... Yet once again, at Savers the 650ml is 99p.............so ... Ok - this is for the students and gents out there who are useless (like I) with cleaning up. I have always bought the cheap supermarket brand, purely because it is cheap.
