Premium Review Fairy Liquid: My prefered choice. (510 words)

Rating:

Fairy liquid is my favourite of all washing liquids, I have tried lots of cheeper alternatives in my bid to save some cash but I find fairy the best and most economical as it lasts me such a long time and you do not need as much in each wash. There are different scents and products that fairy make ie: Standard liquid range costs ...  Read the complete review

I have previously tried out cheaper alternatives but I always find myself being led straight back to Fairy as I really feel that it gives the best value for money. Fairy is in a clear plastic bottle which has a red flip top lid and the bottle has a slight curve to it which makes it easy to grab off the side in my kitchen for ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fairy Liquid: You Gotta Love the Fairy (438 words)

I was doing my washing up this evening, and it dawned on me, how bloody brilliant Fairy Liquid is. It has been around for ages, 50 years to be precise - you probably remember the adverts from back in the day. It was always advertised as the washing up liquid that cares for your hands, as well as cleaning your dishes. Their website ...  Read the complete review

Fairy Washing Up Liquid..... Having just used this product to do the washing up (even though we have a dishwasher), I thought I would write a quick review because it is a product I feel is a leader in its class and one I have used for a long time. Fairy washing up liquid is usually on special offer and I do believe I ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Fairy Liquid
by fernman - written on 26/02/09

I've used Fairy Liquid for a few years now, but when I picked up a new one in Tesco last week I noticed the design of the plastic bottle had changed a little. At home I compared it with my near-empty one, when I was dismayed to see the old one contained 500 ml while the new one has only 450ml. What I don't know is whether there was any price difference between the two. Call me a cynic, but I won't be surprised if they were the same.

Premium Review The Fairy of Clean Dishes (359 words)

I have tried quite a few different washing up liquids over the years but I haven't yet found one which I like as much as Fairy liquid. They do loads of different types and I think it is a shame that there are not lots of different categories for them on Dooyoo as they all claim to do different things and smell different ways, and they ...  Read the complete review

I always used to begrudge spending extra money on boring products such was washing up liquid, washing tablets etc so used to opt for the shop brand instead. I did however, try fairy a few months ago when Tesco had a really good offer on it. I have to say, I was really impressed and is so much better quality than the shop ...  Read the complete review

I've used a few different washing up liquids, but I always come back to Fairy! Choosing a washing up liquid is not a big decision. As long as it does what it should- get the dishes clean- then what's the big deal? Well the big deal is that some of them are better than others. In the past I have bought some own brand washing ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fairy Liquid: 'FAIRY' Good Value (234 words)

Fairy has been around for a very long time. I remember watching those Fairy adverts when I was a kid. The one's where that woman is explaining that Fairy may cost a tiny bit more but it last much, much longer, therefore much more better value for your money. In the advert she is standing in the middle of two really long tables that are ...  Read the complete review

Normally I buy the cheapest washing up liquid that I can find, however as I have recently found this turns out to be a huge false economy. I bought a very large bottle of Fairy washing up liquid when it was on offer at the supermarket. Although it was probably 3 times more expensive than the brand I usually buy, it lasted for more than ...  Read the complete review

When it comes to household cleaning products I always tend to go for the cheap option, because it's not an area I really like spending money on, and I often find that supermarket own brand products are just as good. I learned pretty quickly that the really cheap washing up liquids - you know those ones that tend to come in a tall white bottle and ...  Read the complete review

In my kitchen cupboards you will find lots of value products as I believe that in most cases they are just as good as the branded products. The exception to this is washing up liquid. I have tried many different value and own brands and none are as good as Fairy liquid. Although it is more expensive - 500ml of Fairy costs 93 pence ...  Read the complete review

It is generally bad house keeping to buy the brand leader as often you are paying extra for very little difference in quality or performance however I have always found that with some cheaper brands of washing up liquid, other than the Tesco own brand label, I can get a rash if I use them however Fairy Liquid is really mild and so I use this or ...  Read the complete review

Our poor old dishwasher is well past it's sell-by date now so it looks like I'll be having to do most of the washing-up by hand over Christmas (funny how members of the family disappear isn't it?). When you think of washing up liquid, it is Fairy that springs to mind first and never (in my head at least) without hearing without hearing the jingle song from when I was a child which must be a testament to the power of branding.
