Now hands that do dishes are as soft as your face. Not true! My hands do dishes and there is a difference in softness between hands and face. Can I sue them? No probably not. Fairy is probably the most trusted washing up liquid in the UK. For years, housewives and househusbands have been squirting the green liquid into water and washing ...  Read the complete review

Fairy liquid is celebrating 50 years this year and it is still going strong and is just as good quality as it always has been. It is a good rich green liquid with a nice perfumed smell and is rich and gives lots of bubbles when in water. It can be a little expensive priced around £1.19 for a 510ml ...  Read the complete review

I will be reviewing Fairy washing up liquid in this review for your information. I believe that the catchphrase for Fairy washing up liquid is "I hardly ever buy fairy liquid", this is quite right as you only need a small amount of fairy washing up liquid to use for your cleaning, unlike other products that you tend ...  Read the complete review

There is now a whole range of Fairy products, including cleaning spray and dishwasher products, but I don't have any experience of these. Right, getting down to it now. Well, if you've read any of my other reviews, you will know that I ...  Read the complete review

===== Fairy Pink Petals! ===== As silly as it sounds the only reason I bought this was because it was red and it matched the colour of my newly painted kitchen (sad I know) On first inspection, the bottle is of average size and holds 450ml of liquid, the bottle is made from plastic and is see ...  Read the complete review

Fairy liquid is a household favourite, and I think it always looks nice on the supermarket shelves, with all the different colours and varieties on show. Which one to pick? I pick lemon. There is something lovely about the smell of lemon in the kitchen. I always use lemon wipes on my surfaces, because the scent is ...  Read the complete review

I love this stuff - in the past I have changed to other brands or the supermarket own, but now I have a messy husband and even messier baby to wash up after I reach straight for the Fairy when out shopping, without even a glance at the others! It cleans so well, leaves a sparklingly clean finish, is gentle on my very dry hands, smells ...  Read the complete review

Fairy Liquid is the best!!! I must admit though after trying the new scents I will always resort back to the normal original Fairy. This is probably Market Leader in its field but the price is roughly about 1.00 for a small bottle. This however is gonna last you for over 3 weeks. I have tried many different washing up solutions and i ...  Read the complete review

What can you say about fairy liquid! It is one of the most important household items in the Uk today. Fairy has many cheaper alternatives on the market today, with the credit crunch and money being tighter some of these alternatives seemed to make more sense than buying the sometimes more expensive fairy. However all of these ...  Read the complete review

Fairy Liquid: Sorry I left you Fairy, Such value for your money (242 words)

I am a great fan of Fairy products. The dreaded credit crunch made me think about my shopping costs again, so I very foolishly tried other washing up liquids. I hang my head in shame, how wrong I was. I used two to three times the amount of the cheaper liquids compared to my good old Fairy. My hands too became very dry and sore with the ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Fairy Liquid
by Alan Grant - written on 24/02/10
Rating:

Fairy Washing up liquid traditionally was a market leader. Care had to be exercised before squirting the liquid into the bowl otherwise one could be deluged with bubbles etc. Now we are at the other extreme whereby the product is of extremely poor quality, it hardly foams and masses of the clearly weakened down product are needed. Having always now chosen this brand, I am currently experimenting with other products which cost the same or less in order to wash my dishes up properly, clear grease etc. Lowering standards and reducing quality in this way has had the reverse effect for this consumer. Alan Grant (01752-222669). My current bottle is labelled "Fairy Wishes", but my concerns have been there for months and months. I have only just taken the action to complain.

I never really stick to one brand of washing up liquid as I like to have a change. I have used supermarkets own brand but recently bought fairy as it was on offer for £1 for 450ml at asda. I have also seen bigger versions available for £1 in homestores such as b&m and pound stretcher so these are worth picking up when you see them ...  Read the complete review

Fairy is the only washing up liquid we use in our house now. I find this washing up liquid is the most economical as you need so little of it compared with other brands and is not only good for cleaning dishes. A five minute soak with fairy can get the toughest grime from pots pans and oven dishes. We also use fairy to wash ...  Read the complete review

Good old Fairy liquid. I always use fairy liquid normally the original one, occasionally the lemon or apple. This is the orginal washing up liquid and the television adverts are true - it really does last for ages and ages.
