There can be few people who haven’t heard of the fairy liquid brand; after all it has been around for 45 years now! I hate washing up and have a dishwasher to minimise the number of dishes I have to wash by hand. However I still find myself washing up my hand at least once a day and anything that helps make this task a little more pleasant gets my ... Read the complete review

Fairy Liquid is great!! It's probably the most famous of all washing up liquid and the adverts has claimed for many years that it will last and last! (Remember the adverts with the kid who wanted the bottle to play with, and he had to wait and wait for the liquid to run out!) My thoughts. Well, to tell you the truth the adverts ... If you have an unpleasant job like washing dishes, why shouldn't you try to make the experience as easy and amiable as possible? Of course, the easiest answer is to purchase a dishwasher (which I did). However, even if you do, you're not going to be able to get away with never washing up anything again. There are always things that aren't ... Read the complete review

I cant believe Im sat writing an op about washing up liquid. I used to think that these kinds of ops were best left to the middle aged members who've used every liquid on the shelf - twice. But since I moved out of my parents house 2 months ago into my own little pad, Ive had to learn all about the joys of washing, cooking, cleaning..you ... Read the complete review

My opinion is solely on Fairy Original, as I do not like the scent of other washing up liquids. There are many different scented liquids under the Fairy banner, the most famous being the lemon one I suppose and now anti-bacterial ones. I only buy the original so I shall talk about that. Fairy no longer comes in the white tubular shaped ... Read the complete review

Unless you eat and drink from paper plates and cups, or you eat out every night, then you will need to do some washing up occasionally. For this the best washing up liquid I can recommend is Fairy. There is nothing more exciting than washing the dishes. The wide choice of washing up liquids. The excitement of finding the correct water temperature. The joy of rinsing the plates before you submerge them in the bowl. The agony of being forced to rewash a dish that still has one of the morning's corn flakes stuck to it, only noticed as ... I used to be a Persil girl, every day I would wash my grubby dishes that was welded with last nights dinner on it, in nothing other than Persil, one because it did the job really well and two because I liked the range of fragrances available. I am sorry to say to Persil but the divorce is final, not because you don't do a great job or that ... Read the complete review

Washing Up liquid. An essential part of cleaning up in the house. Since it is my "job" to do the dishes I chop and change liquid and it don't bother anyone. I don't really mind doing the dishes and there is a large choice of liquids out there which can make the experience more enjoyable. So how can a mundane task end up ... Read the complete review

It’s getting colder outside. The nights are drawing in, it's dark much earlier. It feels cold, crisp and Wintry. We’re already into December. The schools are practising carols and nativity plays. The shops are full of cards, gift ideas, wrapping paper and tree decorations. All this can mean only one thing – ... Read the complete review

I do write for another site but looking for a new home after recent changes, so if this op seems familiar to some of you, it is. This is a rewrite of an op that I wrote elsewhere. QUE MUSIC….. ‘For hands that do dishes that feel as soft as your face, mild green fairy liquid’ Fairy Liquid has been about for absolute aeons, but it has changed beyond belief over the years. I've used Fairy liquid off and on over the years. It's always done its job well, much better than everything else that I've tried on the market. Persil liquid comes a close second that I will buy if; on the rare occasions that Fairy is out of stock in any of the shops I visit. But on the whole Fairy is my washing up hero. I ... At £1.09 you'd expect any fairy liquid to be damn good. Feeling a bit flash i decided to ditch the tesco value stuff andpay an extra 70p or so for some pink strange liquid.. Aromatics floral breeze? "for hands that do dishes..." as the ad goes. Well, fairy liquid is not so kind on your hands as they would like us to believe, but then neither are most household cleaning products.
