Fairy Non-Bio washing powder is an effective means of keeping your clothes clean and shining - however, it is no more and no less good as the other major brands on the market.

Being a skin allergy sufferer, I generally tend to buy non-bio powders and liquids to avoid exacerberating my eczema. Fairy is quite good in that department as I don't need to scratch myself all over after using it to wash my clothes and bed linen.

Price-wise, Fairy washing powder is one of the more expensive ones together with Ariel, but likely justified, though admittedly I have not dared try Daz or the own-brand articles at the local supermarkets out of fear of making things worse for my skin! Still, if you can grab some while its on offer, its definitely worth it.

One thing that may or may not be product related is that my clothes after washing with Fairy for a while come out rather rough and hard, so be sure to always add sufficient fabric softener when you do use it.
