Febreze Mist & Refresh

Watchin the television advert for Febreze Mist & Refresh I was sceptical of their new claim. ''The mist eliminates everyday odours without masking them and leaves a light and subtle scent behind. Patented odour elimination technology'' Of course, I was sceptical of this claim. However, with thought in mind and shopping basket in hand this product manages to catch my eye in my local Tesco. I have said before in reviews that I always get paranoid about cooking smells in my home. I live in a one bedroom flat, so anything I have been cooking with a strong smell lingers in the air for ages. I regularly use plug-in air fresheners, but as the adverts say, they only mask the smell rather than eliminate it. Now I'm not normally the sort of person who believes the claims in television adverts so I wasn't impressed by the latest advert for Febreze spray when I was told that it was a new product with special technology to eliminate odours rather than masking them. Yeah right! Then two things happened - firstly I read a review on Ciao about this product; it wasn't very detailed but the reviewer was impressed. I picked up this Air freshener costing £2.00, while doing my weekly shop, at the local Mace I dont usually use Febreze but I decided to give it a go, as I am not fussed on some of the other brands of Air freshener on the market. I bought this product on impulse whilst shopping in my local wilkinsons store. It was on one of those 'End of Aisle' displays with money off as a trial price. The price on the yellow sign nect to the product was shown as £1.65. The cans neatly lined up on the metal shelves, multi-coloured caps distinguishing the different scents. ~~~Why I purchased this item ~~~ The red glittery top caught my eye.
