Any house, no matter how much time you spend cleaning it, is bound to have its fair share of smells every so often. Mine is no exception. Home to one cat, one child, me, and my boyfriend, who both smoke, it often needs a little freshening. Easiest way of course is to find out what smells, and wash it. Febreze is a product I have been using for several years and has now become a staple in my cleaning cupboard. febreze is a fantastic product, not new but i only brought my first bottle of this about 6 months ago so am still relatively new to the world of febreze. I have use this a lot around my home, i already have a carpet cleaner so using that makes my carpets smell fresh but i only use that once a month and wanted something to use inbetween. Im weird me, go on say it i said it, i dont like the smell of cigarettes even though i smoke myself so i love this as it removes the stale cigaret smoke from my carpets, curtains, matresses, pillows, coats and all other cloth items in my house that dont get put in the washer more than once a week. I'm not a fan of doing the washing, or hanging up the washing, or doing the ironing. I don't think I've ever met anyone who is. Wouldn't it be great if you didn't have to any of these things? Yes, yes it would. There is one simple solution however. Employ someone else to do all of these nasty chores for you. Simple. But in the event that your are no made of money there is one other alternative - Febreeze. Febreeze is a bottle of liquid fabric/clothes/furniture freshener with a trigger spray. ~~~~Why I bought this~~~~ I am a big advocate of trying to discover what is causing the odour and cleaning it or getting rid of it to solve the problem. This is not always practical, or even possible in some cases. My first experience with Febreze came when we moved into rented accomodation. We were not allowed to paint, and the bedrooms and lounge had been freshly wallpapered anyway. Unfortunately, someone who lived thre before had smoked like the proverbial chimney and heavy nicotine deposits were IN the still nice to look at carpets causing that familar smoke odour.
