I've Finished my dishwasher so won't be getting a new one after all (Finish Fusion Power)

Advantages: easy to use, does the job, smells lovely

Disadvantages: the price - but cheaper than a plumber!

I'd never used a dishwasher until we moved to our present home a few years ago where there was one in our lovely kitchen. As it's fairly old & there were no directions on how to use it I was a bit apprehensive until my friend came & sorted me out!

I now use it at least once a day & despite it's age it does a pretty good job. I have noticed, on several occasions though that the dishes, glasses & cutlery have come out with bits or smears on them & blamed the age of the machine.

My daughter saw an ad on TV for Finish dishwasher cleanser which she insisted we buy & I can honestly say it made a real difference.

I thought that dishwashers looked after themselves as their job is to clean & it always smells nice when a cycle has finished. It wasn't until I used the Finish that I realised that the grease, limescale & dirt can build up over time & needs sorting in order for it to do it's job well.

At £6.99 for 2 x 250ml bottles it doesn't come cheap as 1 bottle is one wash but the effects were so good that I'll buy it again but not use it every month as suggested unless I can find a very good offer.

Each bottle is clearly labelled with both diagrams & words on how to use the product & it's so simple it's silly - just unscrew the top, turn upside-down in the cutlery compartment & switch the machine on at it's hottest setting - job done!

It smells really fresh although quite strong in the bottle but when used in the dishwasher it's more subtle. The machine was so clean after using this product it almost shone & the build up of limescale & grease must have been removed as I noticed a considerable difference in the efficiency of the dishwasher. There were no bits, grease or smears after using it & each item was thoroughly cleaned.
