Advantages: supposed to get your dishes clean

Disadvantages: It doesn't get your dishes clean at all

Since I have had a dishwasher I have always used Finish Tablets as that is what Bosh recomend, however over the last few months I have noticed that their performance has been, well short of rubbish. Last week I had to stand 2 mugs in bleach as the tea stains inside were disgusting.

I have been buying them in bulk from Makro as they are cheaper there (90 for £10.00) but as soon as the box is 'Finished' I will look around for an alternative.

Several times after I have run an intensive wash at 65c and things have come out dirty, and I have had to handwash them or run another programme. I cannot blame the dishwasher as its only 1 year old and working perfectly.

My mum swears by a dishwasher powder called 'SUN' but we can't seem to get it anywhere, things really do smell like they have been washed when they come out of the dishwasher. So if anyone knows where you can get 'SUN Dishwasher Powder' from please let me know.

Hi Jacksmum

I work in Ireland with the company that makes Sun. Unfortunately Sun was withdrawn in the UK last year, we still sell a little through wholesalers but it will be difficult to get hold of.

If I were you it's worth talking to the manager in your local Tesco's - they have a large chain of stores in Ireland and should be able to source Sun powder that way.
