Another find while looking for a bargain. I normally stock up on buy 1 get 1 free Dishwasher tablets, as they are quite expensive. Although a box can last me a while, Once you are used to having a dishwasher I don't tend to wash any dishes by hand - lazy I know.
These are the best tablets I have used. I am down to my last tablet of these, and I am testing the new Fairy Dishwasher tablets, and they sent me a full sized pouch for free - thanks Fairy, so I won't have to buy these for a while again, but I would recommend these and will buy these again.
These are the most expensive ones I have bought. I tried the 10 tablet box when they were on offer for £2, but think they normally cost £4.00. Asda is selling the 20 tablet box for £7.80, but it is on buy 1 get 1 free, so you get an idea of the cost of these.
The design of the box is alright. The colours are blue and black and it has a large plastic see through part where you can see the tablets.
So what do the tablets look like? Alright. i can't resist giving them a little squeeze before I put it in the dishwasher. It is like the ingredients are in a plastic box. It has a red circle in the middle with liquid, over half of the rectangle is a medium blue colour and it looks gritty and sand-like, and the other rectangle part is a lighter blue, which looks like a cream. On the back of the box it tells you what each section does, red part gives shine, medium blue, is detergent and light blue is enzymes to break down baked on food.
These delivered on what they said. They made my dishes clean, shiny and gave a hint of a fresh scent. I find with cheaper tablets they can make my glasswear feel a bit sticky, and I thought there was too much solution in the compartment in the dishwasher, but these don't make them sticky at all. A great high-shine on the cutlery and glasses.
Brilliant product, the best i've used. Makes your dishes perfect. Just wish they were a little cheaper.

- 26/04/09 Good review. Amidst the copious amounts of brands I agree with you = this is one we've used for a few years now after using Sun (anyone remember that brand?) powder and Finish really does bring up the "diamond standard." |
