Advantages: hygienic

Disadvantages: expensive

Our kitchen is rarely without, what has now become indispensable, flash antibacterial wipes. As they come in a variety of scents, we have found that the lemon has the strongest scent that gives the kitchen a real clean smell.

Having said that we use these in the kitchen, there are plenty of other places you could use them. I often use one or two to wipe around the bath after it has been used, or to give the sink or loo a quick wipe if i haven't got the time to do a proper clean.

The packet is a bit thinner than a sheet of a5 I would say, and is made of thick ish plastic and is nice and squishy. It feels tightly packed with wipes and it is (around 50, depending on which type you buy). You can choose whether to use the wipes as one, or tear it down the middle to create two smaller ones to make them go further. You can wipe a lot with these wipes before you need a new one, and I can do the bathroom in about 3. These are so much more hygienic than a cloth and spray, because you can just get rid of them and you don't let the bacteria fester inside them.

While some people do boil their cloths to rid of this, many don't, which means this could well be a solution. They are also great for the lazy people among us who simply don't want to use a cloth and spray because it's too much effort. This would also include the lazy student crowd. A great stocking filler!

At somewhere around the £2.50 mark, these wipes are a lot more expensive than the Wilkson's own brand wipes for example, which are only 79p, but you really are getting quality here. The wipes don't tear and they are thick enough to be used a lot more than cheaper makes. It's worth paying for if you don't like cloths and sprays, but it doesn't do a better job than those, I would say it's merely a convenient item. One that I wouldn't be without!

Summary: a great hygienic item for the kitchen and bathroom
