Advantages: Strong and tear resistant

Disadvantages: Tesco ones are cheaper

Although I'm a generally messy person, when I do clean, I opt for the thorough wipe-all-surfaces method. For that reason, I have a handy stash of wipes at the ready for all manner of occasions. I like the wipes to be antibacterial - and although bacteria in moderation is good for you - it's nice to have a little peace of mind when it comes to destroying germs, especially being a pet owner... actually make that 'an owner of a cat who will randomly vomit on the floor when you're least expecting it'.

Costing £2 for the 60 pack, Flash Antibacterial wipes are available from the majority of supermarkets throughout the country. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, then the Tesco version works out as less expensive, with the 120 pack available for £1.80.

Housed in a light green re-sealable packet to stop them from drying out, the moist little cleaners don't claim to kill a certain percentage of bacteria as the Tesco ones do - but they do give the random statistic of "Killing 100% 'more' dirt than the next bestselling wipe".

After dusting, I use the wipes on a variety of surfaces including wood, painted surfaces, and metal. They even work well on my wooden flooring without leaving streaky marks, which is handy, as it means I don't have to splash out on the more expensive floor wipes. The smell is quite hard to place, but it's certainly clinical, albeit a little chemically.

Sometimes when I use cheaper wipes, they rip fairly easily - but this isn't a problem with the Flash brand. Each wipe is made from the 'Strongweave' material which is very tough, and if rinsed under the tap, can be re-used.

In conclusion, I would recommend Flash Antibacterial Wipes as hardwearing and efficient cleaning aids. That said, the cheaper Tesco Antibacterial Wipes seem to be very similar in quality, and for that reason, I would perhaps recommend going with the less expensive ones, especially in these credit crunching times.

Summary: Efficient cleaning cloths

Ive seen these but the price puts me off. Find it longer lasting to use a spray and towel for whatever but a handy product to have for those who dont like sprays.
