Flash Bathroom Spray
Advantages: Works really well, quick and simple to use
Disadvantages: No antibacterial qualities
I bought this bathroom cleaner a couple of months ago when I ordered my shopping from Ocado. I usually don't buy specific bathroom cleaners and instead opt for anti bacterial multi purpose ones but as this one was on offer I thought I may aswell give it a try.
The bathroom cleaner comes in a trigger spray of 500ml. The bottle is an opaque white meaning you cannot see the product through the bottle. The detailing on the bottle (trigger head, sticker etc) is predominantly a dark blue and there is a large yellow Flash logo across the middle.
The bottle informs me that the spray is suitable for using all over the bathroom. However, there are a few limits when it shouldn't be used such as enamel which is over ten years old and polished surfaces.
To use the spray you simply twist the end of the trigger head to the 'on' position and spray the product onto the surface you want to clean. I like the trigger and find it really comfortable to use, you need a certain amount of pressure to release the product but I like this as it means I have more control over how much I spray. To clean the surface you can either wipe it over with a damp cloth to remove the product and then rinse or leave it for up to ten minutes and then wipe it off and rinse.
I have used both of these methods and both provide me with great results. When I'm in a hurry I tend to spray then wipe but if I have a bit more time I do leave it to work for a while on its own. My preferred method is to leave it a few minutes simply because it makes it far easier to clean the surface!
Once sprayed onto the surface the product immediately foams up and you can hear it fizzing ever so slightly. Once the product is ready to be wiped off it is really simple to do and the sponge or cloth that you are using cuts through any dirt quickly and with ease. A few times I have also used the product and then simply rinsed it off and this is also effective. I especially find the spray useful on the bathroom sink which is prone to getting water marks and toothpaste smears etc.
There is one drawback to the spray which is that the bottle doesn't suggest that it is an antibacterial cleaner which is of course very important in a room like the bathroom. To remedy this I just spray some anti bacterial cleanser spray on the surfaces alongside the Flash cleaner.
The product lasts well. I've been using it a couple of weeks now and I am rather trigger happy but still have at least half of the product left. One thing I would prefer was being able to see how much I actually have left, even if it was just a small window on one side because I do like the design of the bottle.
I really like this spray and have been impressed with it. It cleans effortlessly and cuts through dirt and marks easily. It leaves the bathroom absolutely gleaming and does a brilliant job on plastic, enamel and tile. I have also noticed that the bath etc stays shiny for longer after cleaning which is fab!
The normal selling price for this spray is £2 however, I very rarely buy cleaning products at full price because you can buy them whilst on offer then pop them in the cupboard until you need them. However, I do think that the product is worth its full price because it works really well.
Summary: Great cleaner, recommended
