Cuts through grime. No, really, it actually does! (Flash Bathroom Spray)

If Flash ever want me to do an advertisement for them, I will gladly comply.
Even though Flash cleaning fluid adverts are amongst the very worst ever seen on television, I will still go out of my way to meet their whims. Even though I am not in television, I have never appeared in an advertisement and never intended to do so, if Flash want me, I'm there.

Of course they won't. And even if they did then to do so would be to endorse an advertising model which basically sucks, what with being aimed at your average housewife with an average intelligence and average imagination. But for Flash it would be worth it.

For the last year we've been buying Tesco's own brand of bathroom cleaner and each time I clean the bathroom (which, I admit, isn't incredibly often) I've been using it to polish the grime. It doesn't remove any of the grime but at least we get to have clean grime. I figured this was just the way things are in the heady world of cleaning, and put up with it, considering maybe one day getting a pan scourer onto the tiles and finding some way to clean the bath completely that wouldn't involve scratching up all the surface.

Then one day we went shopping, and I grabbed some Flash from the shelves at around the point where my partner was glowering at the trolley and almost taking a run up to get it moving. Hours later, I decided to attack the bathroom.

With only the aid of a cleaning sponge and Flash I suddenly discovered an innate ability to shift dirt. I was so impressed I called people up to show it to them. Judging by the looks they thought I'd gone a bit mad and I wasn't all that keen on admitting I was having fun making the bathroom shine. But still, we now have a clean bathroom whenever we so desire and we've learnt the valuable "supermarket brands are not as good as the well known ones" lesson.
