I'm getting a little worried about what the neighbours must be thinking about all the squeaking coming from my bathroom, I do hope they don?t think I've got mice although I could understand why they might think I have. Let me explain.

You see it all started a few weeks ago when I visited my mother for lunch, after which I needed to use the bathroom. While I was in there I put my hand on the washbasin only to hear a squeaky sound. When I took a closer look, I found it did so because it was so lovely and clean, squeaky clean! At first I thought maybe she had bought a new suite, but no it looked like the same old one I'd seen for years.

I immediately went down stairs and asked my mother what she'd been using to clean her bathroom, "Flash" she replied to my surprise. Well I had been using flash for years and although it cleaned beautifully, it never felt so squeaky clean. I explained this and was told it was the "Flash Bathroom spray" she had used.

I had tried Flash bathroom cleaner years ago and didn't think it cleaned as well as the "All purpose Flash" and so I had not bothered with this at all. I realized it must of change so when I next visited my local Sainsburys decided I would look out for it.

I found it very easily in the household products isle. I paid £1.33 for a white 500ml bottle with a blue red and yellow label and blue and white trigger spray on the top. I made my purchase and went home to start cleaning.

The first thing I would like to mention is that little spray nozzle had a little white flap over it, which had to raised to use the spray. I did find this quite easy to use and I think most people with the exception of the very weak handed will be able to use this with ease. A
couple of the elderly people I take care of have
started using it with no problems.

The liquid inside is clear and has a lovely clean fresh smell to it at first but after cleaning for a while I did find this a little over powering, but once cleaning was done the smell seemed to fade to be quite pleasant. In fact I think it smells a little like shaving foam.

To use this you simply point at the surface to be cleaned, give it a couple of squirts with the product and leave it to work for a couple of minutes, then simply wipe it away. It does say you don't need to rinse but I don't like products that stay behind so I do rinse it down. I found a small amount went quite a long way making it quite economical and good value for money.

I cleaned my entire bathroom, bath, sink, tiles the lot. When I had finished I wiped my hand over the sink and yes, it was all nice and squeaky clean, just like mum's. It removes all the soap scum and grease, everything to leave a clean you can really feel and smell. I also found it seemed to stay cleaner for longer, which can't be a bad thing.

My hands are sensitive so I have to be very careful with some cleaners, especially as I can't wear rubber gloves as these tend to make thing's worst, not even cotton lined ones but this didn't give me any problems at all.

All in all I would recommend "Flash Bathroom spray" to anyone who likes their home to be squeaky clean. My only concern is with all the squeaking going on in my bathroom, the neighbours might think I've got mice. I haven't honest.
