I am an OCD cleaner and I will spend many an hour a day wiping surfaces, mopping floors, dusting etc and because of this I have a wide variety of cleaning products most of which all do the same job but when I see something on offer I tend to buy it knowing that it wouldn't take me long to have the need to use it. One of my all time favourite products for cleaning is bleach I use it on a daily basis but there are times when I just don't have the time to use it as frequently as I can do. When I saw Flash Spray with Bleach I thought this was a convenient way of cleaning.
Flash Spray with Bleach is obviously made by the brand Flash which has a wide range cleaning products in all different varieties whether you want a spray, mop or a wipe Flash have it. For me I have quite a few Flash products and tend to find them pretty good and always seem to deliver good results. I managed to pick up a bottle from Wilkinsons for £1.00 which I thought was a pretty good buy and especially as I hadn't used it before.
Flash claim that their spray with bleach is able to cut through "tough soils and stains from hard surfaces". Now because I regularly clean there is never any build up of staining to any surface or grime but for me it is more that it will keep my surfaces especially my white ceramic tiles and white bathroom suites actually white. And of course sometimes when cooking sauces can splash and harden there is always need to use a cleaning product that can help cut through these little problems.
Flash Spray with Bleach comes in a white plastic trigger spray bottle which is not see through. It has an orange coloured label (matching the trigger spray) which has the Flash logo together with an image of a kitchen appliance and white bath obviously looking sparkling clean! On the back of the bottle there is information about the product together with how to use it and what it can be used on. Obviously when using bleach you need to be careful and the bottle features warnings on the back.
Flash Spray with Bleack comes out as a spray but definitely not a fine spray or mist and once it lands on the surface it is like a thin white foam which quickly dissolves on the surface leaving a clear liquid. Now the version I have is with the fresh eucalyptus scent but for me it is heavily scented with that typical bleach smell. There is no denying it that it does have an air of freshness to it, a lot fresher than a generic bleach which is obviously quite nice as the smell of bleach can be quite potent.
I tend to use the spray on my white bathroom suites as well as my kitchen surfaces especially after I have been preparing food as I am so conscious of preparing raw meat that I want every inch of my worktop surface wiped down. The spray as I said doesn't come out as a fine spray like I said above but it gives a decent amount of liquid onto the area you are wanting to clean as the spray isn't fine you can clearly see where it has landed on the surface.
Not only does it keep my porcelain enamel in my bathroom incredibly white but on those tough sauce stains on my cooker top, microwave and oven it manages to cut through the sauce stains with ease. I find that if you spray it on and leave for a few minutes you can generally wipe it and the sauce stain away in one stroke of the cloth making it quite an easy job. It doesn't leave a residue behind which is nice and seems to cope well on all the surfaces I have used it on with no problems at all.
I have to say that I do quite like the scent of this as although it has quite a distinctive bleach smell to it, it also has a slight hue of freshness of the eucalyptus which tones the bleach smell down a little which is quite nice. But regardless of the smell it has it does leave a very bleached clean smell where you have used it but it soon disappears after a while.
Overall, Flash Spray with Bleach manages to keep my surfaces clean and germ free which for me when I've got a 2 year old as well as numerous cats and dogs the germ freeness is a big thing for me and this manages to do it. Yes, the scent can be a little strong but it does exactly what it says on the bottle which for me is great and especially considering I paid £1 for a bottle it really is a versatile bargain. Definitely a recommendation if wanting something a little stronger than your all purpose cleaner. 4 stars from me, knocking one star off simply because you have to be incredibly careful when using it as bleach can stain.
