These were recommended in a Dooyoo review and as I also hated cleaning our G F grill because of the way they are designed and I thought I would give them a try as they appeared to do the job especially in the areas around the spikes and the raised grills where food and fat gets trapped.

Each sponge is made up of two sides, a black one which acts as a scourer and a blue one that is a softer sponge. In addition they have a grooved shape so that they fit in the raise grills making cleaning a lot easier.

These work really well especially if the grill is a little warm to help remove the dried on food and grease. The down side is the cost as a pack of three will set you back £4.99 which is not cheap however they do last for quite a few cleans so you are not throwing them away after each use. They are particularly good at cleaning the bottom grilland the spikes on it which can be a pain with a normal sponge, also it does not scratch the grill due to the materials used in the abrasive side.
