Advantages: A great cover up.

Disadvantages: None.

I looked at a can of Glade air infusions and I was hooked, S.C. Johnson have certainly put this product in attractive packaging.
There are three fragrances in this new range from Glade, Violet and Ylang-ylang, Pink Peony and Cotton Flower and Lily and Jasmine.
The cans all look very decorative, the colour scheme has been well thought out and the tops of the cans match the colour of the flower that has been used as perfume for the air freshener.
Glade have also given the cans an `hour glass` figure, this means that the cans are easy to grasp and hold on to. I don't know about you but I always tend to leave my can of air freshener spray where it can be seen, or no-one bothers to use it, hence lingering smells are left to linger which can be unpleasant.

I am not a `violet` fan but I immediately knew that the Lily and Jasmine fragrance was the one for me, I love the sweet heady smell of Jasmine and combined with the lily fragrance it it just had to be nothing short of gorgeous.
Glade have decided to build the aerosol into the plastic top of the can, I favour that way, it saves fiddling about trying to remove the lid of the can which you inevitably end up losing anyway. I usually place my aerosol in the bathroom, it sits on the windowsill and it is poised and ready for action. Glade advise that you shake the can gently before use and that you hold it in an upright position when you activate the spray.

I know that Glade have made the Touch and Fresh sprays especially for use in the bathroom but I think that they work out to be more expensive than using an ordinary aerosol and in the long run they are no more effective.
We have no children living with us so we don't have to worry about leaving the can of Glade spray in the windowsill but I appreciate that many would be concerned about the potential hazards of aerosol cans.

The button on the top of the can is easy to press and the spray comes out light and misty, it is as expected initally a very strong sweet floral fragrance that fills the air completely. The fine misty spray soon settles down and within a couple of minutes the smell starts to fade. The Lily and Jasmine fragrance is definitely a very feminine perfume and I love it, it is the perfect mask for unwanted odour.
But that is exactly what the Glade air fusion is - a mask. The sweet fragrance is there to temporarily cover up unwanted smells and at the most the sweet smell will last an hour. Glade have designed the spray so that it actually infuses the air and therfore lasts that little bit longer than conventional aerosol sprays.

There are many times that you just want to freshen up stale air and the Glade air fusion is the perfect temporary measure. Utility rooms often get stale and dank, shoe cupboards can hum, stale cooking smells can linger and the Glade aerosol can help .

I feel that we all like out abode to smell as fresh as it possibly can, in the warmer weather we can open the windows and let the fresh air do the work but in colder weather we have to rely on air fresheners to do the job for us.

Because the product is contained within an aerosol can there are the normal warnings, do not punture the can, do not burn it or inhale the contents. Keep the can well away from sunlight and follow the directions on the can for use. Keep the spray away from fabric.
But there is some good news, the 300ml steel can is recyclable.

I like this product, Glade have designed the container well and they have filled it with effective air freshener. I paid slightly under £2 for my can of Glade air infusions and I am sure that I will be replacing it when it is empty.

Summary: A good temporary measure.
