Advantages: Burns good; Smells lovely when you first light the candle
Disadvantages: The smell doesn't last long as the candle is burning
I had a £1.50 money off voucher for a Glade product so I got one of the candles, this one's a Xmas edition and is called Spiced Apple.
The glass holder is very pretty and has got sparkles and stars on it, it looks lovely on the shelf and will fit in with any Xmas theme you've got going.
The candle is supposed to last for 30 hours and it's burning nice at the minute, I've had it on for probably about 18 - 20 hours now and the wick is burning down smooth and the candle is melting good so that I'm not going to be left with a full candle but with a round hole burnt down the middle!
The smell's a bit disappointing, it smells nice of apples and is quite spicy and sweet. When you first light the candle the smell is lovely and strong in the room but I get used to the smell quick and within 10 mins of lighting it I can't smell it any more.
I think it freshens the room but it wouldn't cope with animal smells or strong cooking smells I don't think, I lit mine in the living room and it always smells fresh in there because the window is always open and we haven't got any dogs or cats. It gave the air a nice fresh smell and that was nice even though the smell of the apple or cinnamon didn't last long, whenever I light this candle I think I can smell vanilla very subtle in the room after the smell of the apple has gone.
I don't think they're worth the usual price of just over £3.00 but I'm happy with the candle for the price I paid with my money off voucher.
Summary: Will Look Great For Xmas But You'll Still Need An Xmas Air Freshener!!!
