No more smelly old bags! (Glade Drop in Vac)

I've never been able to understand people who enjoy hoovering. Lugging a big, heavy plastic hoover around the house isn't my idea of fun. In fact, I find this chore so tedious that I go into a katatonic state at the mere sight of the vacuum cleaner.

Unfortunately, I can't claim that Drop in Vac makes hoovering fun. However, if you have a bagged vacuum, it will get two jobs done in place of one by making your rooms smell sweet and fresh as you hoover. It might not be enough to prevent you feeling bored, but at least you'll be bored in a room that's pleasantly fragranced.

The small cardboard wrapper contains three sachets of scent. You simply drop one into your hoover bag when you change it, and the force of the air being blown out of the machine will disperse the scent over the room. I used Lily of the Valley fragranced sachets, and the smell is pleasant, if a little sweet, though it does calm down a bit about quarter of an hour after you finish the job. The upshot is a great improvement on the smell of stale dust that hoovers tend to emit. When your bag is full, you aimply chuck the whole thing away, and pop a new sachet into the new bag. Easy peasy!

The two warnings that come with this product are not to split the bag and not to put it down on a polished surfaces. Why you'd want to do either thing, I'm not quite sure. I suppose there's no legislating for human weirdness.

Drop in Vac is easy to use and will brighten one of the worst household jobs a little. Oh, and at around £1.50 for 3, it's a pretty cheap fix too!

Summary: Great little product that makes life a bit easier.
