My cat prefers to go out side for his toilet and as he likes to be out all day there isn't usually a problem with this. However, as we keep him in at night for his own safety, there are occasions when he can't quite "hang on" until morning and that is why we provide him with a litter tray! Like most cats, he is very clean and covers up his toilet but, as I am sure other cat owners will agree, that smell of ammonia (and poo) first thing in the morning can knock you sideways! I will confess that I bought this in order to make venturing into his tray a more pleasant experience for my cat Janga! It should be noted here that not once did he indicate a dislike to the litter tray, nor did I sense him wishing it smelt a little more "flowery" but I remained convinced this would be a kind thing for him!! Purchased from my local pet shop and costing under £1 for 400g this is very similar in style to shake n vac - indeed they are both manufactured by Glade and it works on the same lines. As a cat lover, I have used this product regularly, both with kittens and adult cats. It is very simple to use and you do not need to use a lot. Basically you just sprinkle a little on your cat litter, to keep it smelling fresh. You can purchase this product at pet shops and most large supermarkets. This product has saved me money on cat litter and also kept my house smelling fresh!
