Advantages: Smell gorgeous!!!

Disadvantages: Expensive to buy normally!!

Glade Scented Oils Candles
I have bought these since they were first introduced to our shelves a few years back. When they first came out they were very expensive, at around £7 for the burner, and £3.50-£4 for the candles for a pack of three candles. Since then the price of the burner has come down quite a lot (they are now around £4), whilst some of the candles have come down in price and are now £1.99, whilst some of them are still £3.50 (The Tuscany candle is still this price!).

There are quite a lot of scents which you can buy for the oil burner, which as I said come in packs of three, (no more no less!) and which you can buy from all major Supermarkets.

The refills come in the following scents:
Angel Whispers, Apple Cinnamon, Clean Linen, Dewberry Dreams, French Vanilla, Lavender Vanilla, Ocean Blue, Orchid Oasis, Spiced Rose and Vanilla, Home-made Gingerbread and Bayberry Spice, along with limited edition holiday scents.

The product itself:
When you use the candle, you pop your candle onto the magnetic plate, which holds the candle in place. When you light the candle, heat is transferred from the flame to the plate, which heats the plate and melts the candle from below, turning it into a waxy oil like you put in the top of an oil burner. After around 3 hours, the oil burns out, and when the oil is all gone, the candle goes out leaving no mess, and leaving the plate nice and clean ready for a new candle to be placed on it!

The candles as I said last around 3 hours, 4 if you're lucky, which isn't really very long at all, especially when you are paying £3.50 for a pack of 3 of the candles, but I find they really do make the whole room smell delicious, and the smell lasts long after the candle has gone out, and the smell is so delightful that it is well worth the price of the candles!

My favourite is the Dewberry Dreams candle (Tuscany in some shops), which tends to be one of the most expensive scent and the hardest to get hold of, whilst my least favourite is the spiced apple scent, which I don't even find makes the room smell as much as the others I also love the Orchid Oasis, which is really fresh!

Value for Money:
As I said earlier, some of the candles are more expensive than others (in Asda), and the least popular scents are much less expensive than the more popular (this of course makes sense!) so look out for the cheaper candles and see if you like them as for £2 they are much better value for money than almost £4. Also, I have seen some packs which have an extra candle for free!

As each candle only tends to last a couple of hours, you only get around 9 hours worth of burning from each set of candles, so I only really use mine once a week and try and only burn it for an hour at a time before blowing it out and then burning it again later, which makes them last a lot longer, and I have cheap scented candles which I burn at other times!

I just wish these were less money as they really are brilliant and make the room smell absolutely gorgeous as soon as you walk into the room you are hit with a gorgeous smell from it, but they're so expensive, it can be difficult to justify spending the money!

Where can I get them?
You can get Glade Scented Oils from all major Supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsburys), but prices may vary from shop to shop. You may also find them in the likes of Home Bargains or BnM's for much cheaper!

You can also get something called Glade Scented Oils Tins now, which are a new product with the same hot plate inside, as with the candle holder, but it is in a tin, which has a pretty little pattern on the top, and a little hole in it to release the smell even when the candle isn't lit. Each tin comes with one candle, and at the minute they cost £2 from Asda, but I also got one from BnMs yesterday for £1.69 which is great as they look much prettier than the other candle holders and look much prettier around the house, with the same delicious smell!!!

In Conclusion, Glade Scented Oils are amazing, I just wish they were a little cheaper!

Summary: Make your rooms smell delicious!
