Good for a quick freshen up (Glade Shake N Vac)

Shake n Vac is like a talcum powder for your carpet. You sprinkle the scented powder all over the carpet you want to refresh, leave it for a few minutes or so and then hoover it up. The idea is that it leaves a nice scent on your carpet.

I find that the product in the packet has a very nice smell and is easy to sprinkle over the floor quite evenly as the packaging has a sprinkler built in to it.

Hoovering it up though can be a bit more tricky as it does seem that you need to keep hoovering the same area several times to get all of the powder up. Sometimes it can look like it has all gone but then from a different angle you notice that there is still more powder to be vacumed up.

Although it can take quite a bit of hoovering it does do the job iit is designed for and does leave a nice smell in the room and also in your hoover. The smell isn't very long lasting though and is usually gone within a week. I don't think though that you would want to use the product on a weekly basis though as I can imagine remnants would start to get ingrained into your carpet.

Summary: Good for occassional use
