Advantages: Smells fresh, non bio, cheap, little goes a long way

Disadvantages: There's no one on holiday to do the washing for you!!!

When im on holiday i try to pack enough clothes so that i don't have to do any laundry. I mean, who wants to do chores whilst away in a sunny climate when there is sangria to drink?! But inevitably there are always a couple of items that need a wash. Things like bikinis, underwear or in my case a large number of items ive spilt wine or chocolate on! That is where Glo Care comes to the resue.

What is said on the tube?
Glo care is a non bio travel wash that you can use for up to 20 washes. You can wash your clothes anytime and anyplace. It is recommended for all washable fabrics and colourfast items.

What do i do with it?
The instructions on the tube say to dissolve two teaspoonfuls of travel wash into a basin of hot or cold water. In reality who has a teaspoon ready and waiting, so i just squirted a bit into a filled sink. For heavily stained items (such as my wine splashes) you can apply a little of the gel directly onto the area.

How much do you get and where from?
I bought my tube two holidays ago from Bodycare and if i remember rightly it cost 89p. It is also available in most chemists and supermarkets. You a get 100ml tube. Like i said before i don't wash much on holidays just the essentials but the bottle is still half full and i've already had two holidays use out of it.

What i thought:
The wash smells lovely, not overpowering just clean. I did not notice any colour leakage from the garments i washed. My clothes were soft and smelt lovely after washing. This isn't always the case for me when travel washing. Some of the other washes i have used in the past im sure were shampoo or body wash in a tube, they were useless. The glo care even managed to get out difficult stains and didnt ruin my clothes. You're never going to get the same results as when you've thrown your clothes in the washer but for a substitute on holiday its great.

Warning:
From past experience please make sure the cap is on properly and you've put it in a bag. There's nothing more infuriating than getting into your hotel only to realise that the rest of your first day has to be spent washing the entire contents of your suitcase as the travel wash has exploded!

Summary: As far as travel washes go i'd highly recommend this one
