Advantages: does what it says it should-and really well!

Recently, I have found that my usual toilet cleaning products were just not up to the job in our hard water area-the limescale and staining just got carried a way! When I came across this in Tesco, I thought that this would do the job fairly well as it has '100% Limescale Remover' in big letters all across the front. The bottle itself is blue, the label is red, blue and white. A 750ml bottle will set you back £1.62, the price being from the Tesco website.

The product is very easy to use. Make sure the toilet seat is up, then place the nozzle under the rim and squeeze the bottle whilst moving round the bowl slowly. You need to make sure that the whole of the toilet bowl is covered. To do a simple limescale and stain removal job, leave the thick blue liquid in for half an hour after which you brush and flush. If you want to remove all trace of germs as well, which Im sure most would, then leave for an hour, brush and flush.

The main claim of this product is that it removes all limescale in your toilet. I have to say that this product is brilliant! After using, our toilet was white and stain and limescale free. As I cant see any germs at all, I cant really say how effective it has been on that front, but I have to assume that it does the job there too. The bottle has lasted us a couple of weeks now and we use it every two or three days. It is at least half full still, so it doesnt run out very quickly at all.

As with many products of this type, it is corrosive meaning it will cause severe burns if it comes into contact with any area of your body. You always need to wear gloves when administering it to your toilet. Make sure that you keep it well away from any children in the house. If it does come into contact with any skin or your eyes etc, wash and seek medical advice immediately.

The only downside for me is that it is a bit scry sounding if it gets on your skin. Otherwise, I do think this product is great. It does what it says on the label and doesnt cost too much at all for the job it does. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone with a toilet in the house (which, is, I presume, is everyone reading this review).
