I clean my toilet proberly about 3 times a week properly and pop a bit of bleach down normally at least every other day. I have 2 young girls and one of them always seems to make a bigger mess of the loo then everyone else!
I think it doesnt matter how often you clean it, there always seems to be a bit of lime scale build up at some point that discolours the toilet slightly and wont scrub off with ordinary bleach or cleaner.
I used to buy the tablets that you popped down there for 12 hours but although they removed some never all of it!
One day I saw Harpic power plus on offer for £1 (i think its normally about £1.70) and decided to give it ago - after leaving it a few hours (I always leave things longer then it says!) I was amazed to find it had cleared every little bit and attually stocked up on the stuff!
I find you dont even really have to use a lot and I generally do a treatment once every 7-10 days just to make sure there are no build ups!
I have used a little bit around taps in the bathroom and found it works there too and also to remove lime scales from the bath when we had a dripping tap and it left marks.
I highly reccommend this product it truely does what it says on the label and when it comes to cleaning products I find that quite a rare thing!
