Advantages: was on special offer

Disadvantages: didnt work, required just as much effort as normal cleaning methods, was a total waste of money

Well, never one to miss out on a bargain, I am one of those people who, if an item is reduced, or on special offer, buy one get one free, or introductory offer just cannot resist giving it a go.

Maybe its because I remember the times when there wasnt that much choice, 10 years ago in Spain, there was a choice of 2 flavours of crisps in most shops, my friends were always bowled over when they came here to visit thereafter

Anyway I digress, back to the point.

So when I saw a new item and special introductory price I thought yes that will do me :-)
Even better it cleans the toilet, a job that is truly hated by apparantly everyone in my household.
And so I picked up a couple of cans of the stuff, you gotta buy 2 just incase it does work well, then you have definately got a bargain.

I waddled off home with it and gave it to the one person responsible for most of the bowl staining shall we say. He looked at it and asked, why if it was so good, would he need to use a toilet brush? Fair comment I thought, but hey I had bought it now, so why not try it out, and off he toddled. 1 can later, and he still hadnt shifted anything substantial, so I guess this goes to prove that sometimes things are brought out on the market, like this obviously was, just to make us feel good about ourselves, and to feel like we are performing our household cleansing tasks to the best of our ability.

It didnt work, in fact as my partner chose to prove for the next 3 weeks, it was less effective than a 50p bottle of thick bleach, which required no scrubbing.

So the morale of the story is, whenever you see these so called Powerfoaming cleaning products, read the directions before you buy. If it says you need to use the same tools as before then ask yourself why this should be if it is truly all singing and all dancing as it claims.

And then write a letter to the manufacturer advising them of your displeasure.
