      Very helpful

A good quality cutlery set; a bit pricey though!

It is very rare for me to have to go out and buy Cutlery sets; so long as you buy a decent set; they should basically last you for years and years! My partner needed a new cutlery set; so he bought what we both thought was a great bargain; a dinner set which included a cutlery set. The problem was with the cutlery set; the handles to the cutlery were plastic; we soon discovered how useless they were; most of them all broke off! Anyway; we both decided e certainly couldn't buy this sort of cutlery set again!

We spent a while looking for cutlery sets we liked (as we both needed new ones). Now I am quite fussy; I do not like large forks; I prefer smaller delicate ones; I also like smaller slender knives and spoons which are round shaped rather than sort of oval shaped! We went through the Argos catalogue and spotted a few sets that looked nice; in the meantime I leant my partner some older cutlery. In the end we actually both bought our new cutlery sets from Sainsburys Homebase. Originally, we were going there to get a new pot for my partners plant. However, as is often the case, we end up looking around, and remembered that we needed Cutlery sets! There were 2 sets that I liked; one was very cheap, but had style and I almost bought it; but for the fact that for some reason, the prongs on the forks were bendy. I envisaged these getting bent easily and not lasting long. We both looked at this, far more expensive Bamboo pattern style cutlery set. The set has 16 pieces; 4 Knives, 4 large spoons, 4 teaspoons and 4 Forks. It is really quite elegant in style; the cutlery handles resemble a Bamboo style which looks really good. The odd thing is; it is a bit strange when you hold the cutlery as it is not smooth all along; due to the different textures within this style. To be honest that is the only thing that is a little off putting. I am used to holding cutlery that is totally smooth.

The teaspoons and larger spoons are more of a round shape than oval. The forks are quite long but not huge in size; looking quite delicate and the knives are very slender in size and shape.

This cutlery set is also Dishwasher safe.

The cost of this stylish 16 piece Cutlery Set is currently £22.99.

This is a lovely, if expensive, Cutlery set; very stylish and in my view good quality. Its 4 Dooyoo stars from me.
