Homebase Yacht Varnish

I purchased a tin of Homebase Yacht varnish last spring and coated my garden bench as it was showing signs or sun bleaching. The Varnish claims a 4 year protection if applied properly against the rigors of nature and has built in sun filters so it degrades slower. It is slightly red colour before you apply it like very weak red wine and goes on very smooth. It says apply two coats and allow 14 hours between each coat. it is worth following this to the letter and do not put it on too thick.
